Weirdest, hence coolest, video of that era. Awesome song, though!

Holy moley, Ron. He did some seriously famous scores. From Wiki...

"His most popular works include the scores to The Magnificent Seven, The Ten Commandments, The Great Escape, To Kill a Mockingbird, Ghostbusters, The Black Cauldron, Airplane!, The Rookies, Cape Fear, and Animal House."

Tom Petty today. We used to see them play the local bars in Gainesville in the mid 70 's as best as I can remember LOL.

Do you remember the names of the bars? [emoji6] I recall the Purple Porpoise and The Salty Dog, plus a few sketchier joints up on 441, including one that had a Wild Turkey award for the rowdiest table. I can neither confirm nor deny whether I helped our table to win said award, but I don't think I've drank Wild Turkey since my G-ville days. [emoji3]

This was our theme song at The Salty Dog.

    https://youtu.be/5A-4VGfx5lU

We'd sing "There is a house in Gainesville, we call The Salty Dog. It's been the ruin of many a poor boy..."

    Great memories.

I didn't know he had so many to his credit. I hear a couple of those now and then on a local college radio station during one of the weekly segments.

Silly me, I always thought I heard Psalm 23 in there.

    The actual lyrics:

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want
He makes me down to lie
Through pastures green He leadeth me the silent waters by.
With bright knives He releaseth my soul.

He maketh me to hang on hooks in high places.
He converteth me to lamb cutlets,
For lo, He hath great power, and great hunger.
When cometh the day we lowly ones,

Through quiet reflection, and great dedication
    Master the art of karate,
    Lo, we shall rise up,
And then we'll make the bugger's eyes water.
