Urgent help needed to make a decision

Even if they arent my preferred spec, i like both and would go yellow; black wheels and racing seats seal the deal for me.

 

That red interior is just too much. Feels like you are in a tanning salon all the time!

 

The red interior doesn't bother me. I don't think grey paint works as well as does yellow, for a sunny desert climate.

 

Yellow combo comes off nicer to me.

 

Not even a question about it, yellow is so much nicer especially with that spec!

 

Now THAT is a great looking Ferrari, Ernie! I'm sure your Spider will come out mesmerizing in Giallo too!

You did an awesome choice on color, but I am a bit biased, both my F430 spider and my 458 spider had the exact same color scheme... hope you have a great time with the car, and I cannot wait to get mine (488 spider). Just a 'little' bit envious

 

Race seat is no no.
Go with normal seat for comfort

 

Disagree. Ferrari race seats (at least the ones they put in these cars) aren't really race seats but more like sport seats. They're perfectly comfortable and let you sit a little lower providing for more headroom, sportier road feel and better bolstering. The regular seats are also very good so Of ordering a car I'd probably stick with them but I wouldn't avoid a Ferrari simply because it had the race seats. Usually race seats are ordered with carbon fiber backs on them which also makes them look really good, especially in a spider where they're more likely to be seen.

Totally agree, except I would avoid a car with the standard seats. I just don't like them compared to the race seats.

 

Race seat isn't uncomfortable at all. Even if it loses something to the normal seats (which, again, I think it doesn't), it fully compensates for it in terms of lateral support and it really hugs you at speed. Aesthetically, carbon fiber racing seats are no match for standard seats, imho.

So the vast majority of posters here preferred yellow, the OP even chose red... Clearly no one wants the Titanio/red car, can I take it for free?

No, seriously, I'm surprised at how many people chose yellow. I understand a red interior is not for everyone but I'd be happy to take risk, just because Titanio is among my all time favorites and yellow is exactly the opposite.

Drove a 488 Spider last night. It had full electric seats (with Daytona inserts) and they were very comfortable. Race seats or not, you won't go wrong either way - it's an amazing car!
