I read some old posts but am still a little unclear on the difference between the goldrake racing seats and the daytona racing seats. I see the styling/stitching is a little different, are there other differences? (I have goldrake in my 458 and am quite happy with them).

Goldrake you know. The daytonas simply have the Daytona stripes inset in the back of the seat instead of the stiching pattern we have. Daytonas are about $1500 cheaper.

They are actually ~$1500 more expensive than the Daytona racing seats - at least on the 488

I don't like the Daytona pattern on the racing seats. I'd go with goldrake. But this is simply a question of which look you like better.

Nope. Goldrake racing seats are around 10.5 and the Daytona racing seats around 9. In the 458 getting the Daytona racing seat was actually more as it was considered special order. However in the 488 both are regular options and goldrake is more expensive. This was true for my 2016 488 GTB and also my incoming 2017 488 Spider.

Daytona inserts looks like 80's old ferrari.
