I thought the new regs were supposed to get rid of the wonky noses. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have to say I'm rather disappointed in finding still the same profusion of fences, winglets, etc on the sidepods, of "blades" in the front wing, etc...the look is not that different from the 2016 cars either, except for the rear wing. Rgds
I got really excited to see the first reveal. Yay! Then I saw the ridiculous complexity of the front wings. Boo hiss.
Well, the front/rear wing is raked back somewhat. Tyres are wider and front wing is wider. Don't care for that ugly little bulbous nose. From an aero perspective, I guess all will still have those cascade/elements throughout.
Not the huge difference the hype led us to believe ( so far) https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C42sHhYWQAAlerl.jpg
I said a few weeks ago that theae cars dont look significantly different. Just more of the same. Wider sure but more of the same. From the front the rear wing still looks to narrow among other stuff. I'll withhold my final opinion until i see them live.
And the wings, especially the front, might (might...) be somewhat bogus not to reveal some aero tweaks before the practice next week. Rgds
I mean it looks good... better... but just looks like a more refined or maybe more aggressive version of what was last year. For some reason I just really thought the rear wing was going to be much wider. Whatever... we'll see, but anything is better than these disasters in 14: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It appears the "70th" anniversary logo will appear on the suit and possibly on the livery of the car. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Too much aero emphasis. Fail. (Regs fault, not Williams') what was already an engineering championship became more so.
Is that a cardigan or some sort of sweater? This must be make or break year for him now ,will most likely exit with the sweater guy .
