Ugly nose, it's LOOOONG and the rear wing doesn't look very wide at all.

Their livery is an improvement over their bland Ikea one, but still a far way of their 1995 car or their early 2000s car.

Seriously...im really disappointed that the reat wing isnt wider. It most looks like a shorter version of last year's. The nose...a longer version of last year's as well. Overall its just more of the same. Visually its not revolutionary in my opinion.

Can someone explain to me why the "Barge boards" (the vanes next to the t-tray) in this 2017 model are so far outward and more forward compared to the 2016 model in this comparison photo. I have seen these barge boards in the past when they were introduced close to the t-tray on many an F1 cars just like this particular example in the 2016. I have some understanding as to why they are there (are they to smooth out the vortices(causes drag) from the disturbed air from the tyres, suspension arms and front wing?????). If so, the reason they(barge boards) are so far outward and forward is due to a number of factors: 1.) the swept back angle of the front wing. 2.) the wider front tyres 3.) to create a low pressure effect in the area behind the barge board so air flows smoothly into the air inlet and around/side of the car.... or am I completely wrong.

Must admit that I'm a bit disappointed. Expected more of a departure from last year's I guess...

I don´t know how the barge boards exactly work, but if in 2016 they didn´t put them where they´re now it´s just because they weren´t allowed by the rules. Back in 2008 you could see bigger and more complex barge boards than now.

The barge boards are there to Drive airflow to the rear wing - and to the cooling... the goal is to separate the "boundary layers so that you don't have so much turbulence on top of the car. the barge boards actually "delflect" air flow from the wheels that is very turbulent and separates the laminar flow on the car ...

Of course it's gonna get plastered with sponsors, the color scheme/combination that we've been shown is still not great by any means, and putting logos on the car is not gonna make it any better.

Bottom of that side-pot looks like perpendicular to direction of driving. It looks like a last minute design change to fit a case of beer in there. I am curious if they are not hiding a massive undercut or so in truth. I can't see this being a proper design.

Monisha is probably waiting for the highest bidder.

And Monisha learned not to sign contracts too early.....

I think if you're goin with three colors... black has to be one of them... almost a non-color in some respects. The gold just doesn't look right with the white and blue. Whatever.

I'm just hoping Liberty starts fixing things soon. The way its going... in a few years we'll have closed cockpits, closed wheels... yet still be called open wheel racing... and god knows what else. With that shark fin thing the cars will just be slightly different WEC cars if the trend continues.

I'm hoping Liberty just sees F1 as a racing industry... entertainment and competition... not a manufacturer's proving ground.
