FYI...The 550 on ebay today from Ontario Canada that had no reserve went for $130K CDN. It was a beauty with only 28K, KMs. Big money cars are not selling, hopefully values will come back down to earth!

    Euro Car selling as Canadian
Ebay website not same car as on his business site, ebay site had a few pictures from around the internet, see the link below and look at pictures, at least 3 different cars represented
Light creme interior, just off white...very ruff...not even same as on the ebay site
Modular after market wheels only, not very nice at that..
    Here is the ebay link

I don't know whether I am being thick or what, but are you saying this car actually sold for $130K+ off e-bay, or at the e-bay price of just over $40K, or that it was a scam?

misrepresented the car on Ebay as we all can see,
Via PM from a couple Fchatters it is sold for more then $130K CDN, with Fx conversion, to someone in the states that believes its import ready to USA....which is not the case..lets see what progresses in next few days

Very interesting. The pictures on the EBay ad of the Euro 550 in the dealership storage were taken at Ferrari Maserati Barcelona, an excellent dealership which did the PPI on the F512M I purchased from a private buyer in the city a couple of years ago.

Barcelona was a long way from Canada last time I checked.

The Maranello at Amelia was one of only two Ferrari's that brought the high end of pre-auction estimates. The other was the F50. Not bad company.

That '98 550 at RM Amelia Island was offered with no reserve and carried a $125 - 150k estimate range. It hammered for $150 hence $165k all in.

Based on the photos that were provided on the link, it looked pretty much perfect to me.

The new owner will hopefully enjoy taking it beyond 10,000 miles and many more years of pleasure.

I was @ the auction - it is a nice car, but not quite perfect, the driver's side left bolster was warn and the lower part of the seat was full of little tears. All in all a nice car - I was the under bidder. The next bid or two would have taken it into the $170s +, the guy got a good car @ a fair price - me I'm the looser so on to the next one!
