    +1

It's nuts, though RB cars generally 'look' much simpler than Merc but produce as much or more df.

+ 312. My primo tix for Montreal will be for sale after race two if a Ham WDC is inevitable.

Yeah, the Merc looks like a 70s Eldo convertible. Horrid.

After seeing it from another angle I realized that the upper suspension triangle is fixed to the wheel only with that "pipe", so it´s not a duct pipe but an element of the suspension. Probably they put the upper suspension arms very high to not disturb the air that it´s going to the intakes and then put the "pipe" to reach the wheel hub.

Definitely there is a lot of time and money spent in that car.

makes sense as to why its also "beefed" up in design as it is an integral part(direct link) of the whole suspension and is under extreme loads and stress.

Planning Barcelona/Silverstone and maybe either Spa or Hungary. If it's another Merc walkover I won't be going to any...

I have decided not to go to Montreal. Watch SF crack it open now just to spite us. I won't mind if they do :D

Are you saying that Force India or other customer teams get brand new tech? That's not my understanding. Don't they get last years front line tech? I don't think Ferrari and Renault are standing still either. MB blew and engine last year, courtesy of Hams. ;) Wishful thinking I know.

I hope McLaren does a livery something along these lines. Love the orange!

They have done that on the rear suspension for years: Relocate the upper wishbone joint far inwards. I guess the suspension or downstream aero advantages outweigh the local clumsyness of the geometry.
