Would you trade your 360 for the eventual GT4 RS?

I believe you,it just feels irresponsible for me to try and get back in one. I'll buy one someday,but I'm not making any reservations. Whenever that day comes,I don't think I'd ever really be able to drive it how i'd want to with the constant thoughts running through my mind. I love the noise of a good flat 6 though and that alone will lead me to buy one someday.

There's no good answer to this, unfortunately. My guess is that your best shop is Scuderia Performance in the Phllly area. That's fine for major services but when you have little things like o2 sensor issues and things like that, it's not convenient. You need to have someone who has seen it all and can quickly tell you what the issue is most likely to be and make the changes. The 360 is an incredibly reliable car once it's properly set up and maintained.

I think i'll just deal with it through the summer,then when next winter starts setting in, I'll send it there for an early major and have the other issues dealt with. Thank you for recommending them,I would never have known about that place otherwise. Pittsburgh needs to have a good shop,this is ridiculous. I have read that so much on here,you guys as a whole sold me this car way before I even had an Fchat. I'm sure you know that every google search regarding Ferraris directs you to this forum and everyone had great things to say about the 360's reliability.

To conclude this thread, I'd like to thank everyone for their input,especially those who helped talk me back from the edge. I will certainly keep the 360 and hope to have many more pleasent miles in it. How could I even consider it? Just look at that face!

The Porsche LWB seat is just not ergonomically right IMO. Lack of lumbar support is main problem. Head support is too close as well. If you wear a helmet it pushes your head forward, that it's like you're looking on your phone the whole time.

Interesting - I guess it would be assumed that for some percentage of people, fixed seats like this would be uncomfortable. I've always struggled to find a seat that supports me laterally and I find myself always bracing against the car in various ways. Maybe it's just my frame - I'm 6ft but only weigh in at around 155. These seats fit me great. I guess time will tell. Anyway, good comment about the helmet issue. I haven't had a chance to try the seat with the helmet on yet.

I would make the trade for a GT4 RS or a Corvette Z06 if either were available in a manual. But...no manual...both cars are dead to me.

I think about it like this.
Ferrari Pros:
1.It's more than fast enough for me.
2.It will look better(this is fact and there will be no discussion)
3.the gated manual is arguably the greatest thing ever attached to a car.
4.It's a Ferrari.
5.it's value has gone up significantly since I've purchased it and could potentially continue on that trend.
6.It's just about the best V8 sound I've heard.

Cons:
1.It's easily the most unreliable vehicle I've owned and I have a retired Ferrari tech in the family to help keep it running.I am saying this car is unreliable and I've owned an Rx-7.
2.It attracts too much attention for a 23 year old with a poor driving record.
3. You can't park it anywhere without freaking out about the other parkers playing bumper cars or giving you a door ding.
4.Every woman I've ever had ride in the car hates it(not that I could see a car with a big wing on the back being better)
5. Pittsburgh does not have a Ferrari dealer.

Porsche Pros:
1.it's new and will have a warranty
2.It will be infinitely better equipped in just about every regard(I'm a sucker for sirius radio)
3.will probably be a bit faster
4.I could option it how I want and have an excuse to visit the ring again.
5.Pittsburgh has tons of Pcar dealers.
6.I won't be afraid to drive it because of things like parking and weather,miles.

Cons:
1.it is a cayman. I mean this in the nicest way,but we all know it will never be held in the same regard as a 911 let alone any Ferrari.
2. It's got a big wing on the back. I personally like this,but just about everyone else will think i'm a fool.

‘what you need to get is a car that rides worst and each woman will think it’s the most comfortable car ever. Lol. My wife hates my quadrifolio and tells me it’s the most uncomfortable car she’s ever been in due to the carbon seats. But she loves the 360 and says it’s so comfortable and roomy in comparison

Interesting discussion. I would agree if you want the Honda like reliability and a car that looks the same for the last 30+ years aside for the body kit additions sure get a Porsche(Ok, I'll get some heat here). Now if it was an early 1970s 911 2.8 Carrera RS, I dump the 360 like a used Kleenex.
