can't wait to see these trying to get around Mirabeau & Lowes....

I've often wondered why no one has thought to do a "short" car for Monaco.

Don't mean to be a " debbie downer" but if its not the Scuderia coming out of the gates with a contender, I would definitely want the RedBulls to take the fight to the Merc's.

    not necessarily; -
could shorten the wheelbase quite a bit with suspension only and add steering lock by losing some aero bits.
passing at Monaco was always a pain and I don't imagine it's going to be easy with the wider chassis & tires...

I'm wary of Ferrari because of their internal problems last year (the switching around of teammembers happened too late for comfort IMO). IMO Red Bull has the best chance of going against the Mercs. That STR looks good, though. James Key is a great designer, if the Renault engine is any good they might just be surprisingly quick this year. Ferrari/Williams/Mclaren...watch out!

Last year, with a 2015 engine, STR was doing very well....

I'm gonna go out on limb here but does'nt the STR12 "look" better than the RB13 aero/livery wise??? That being said, I am wondering if RB are presenting a "wolf in sheeps clothing" with the RB13?

The toro rosso car bears many similarities/angles to the merc. e.g. nose, fw mounting points & front wishbones heck even the slats on the leading edges of the rw look merc-like.

Haas is NOT McLaren. McLaren is second in all time victories in F1 history. Haas is a two year old team.

For Mac getting major sponsors should be easy -- but it hasn't been able to have anyone pull the string -- and it ain't from a lack of trying.

...part of a two teams effort that together have by far the biggest R&D budget on the grid that they share as much as legally possible and some, pretty much free of charge top quality drivers and no financial need to chase other sponsors...

Haas looks ugly with that bland/boring gray(grey?) color. Reminds me of Scion cars that used that same ugly paint on some of their cars. It's like they painted it with primer and then sprayed a clear coat over it.

Ooh,the Toro Rosso is looking nice, and I love the fact that they finally went with a more differentiating livery than Red Bull. I always thought they were too similar in the past, even if they both are Red Bull teams.

Ferrari actually already tried to poach their designer. If the TR does well beginning of the year I wouldn't be surprised to see Key at Maranello in 2018

The SF70H has about 12 horizontal wings plus a "T" wing and triple bargeboards. Plus big looping thingies around the radiator openings and about 26-30 different elements on the front wing and an "S" duct. Oh, and rake that would do Red Bull proud.

Either this is going to work really well or they have put lots of aero lipstick on a pig.

It does look a bit as if they drove it through the lego factory

...and then itll be another couple years of "rebuilding" again. It seems Ferrari is in a constant state of flux...reorganizing and shuffling people around rather than having a solid team all facing the same direction and able to capitalize on momentum.

It's interesting how different the area in front the side pods and around the barge boards is so different for almost every team. There's almost no convergence.
