Cant wait for the final car. This sounds amazing.
Looks like this is the first picture of the car (rear only) https://www.autogespot.nl/lamborghini-huracan-performante-laat-zijn-achterste-zien Gr. Xander
insanity! looks like it might have a roll cage though which would mean its not stock since that effects overall stiffness, suspension, etc.
How long will the porsche 956 Nurburgring record 6:45 will help broken by a production car? In 5 years?
I thought Porsche 956's Ring record is 6:11.13? The Stefan Bellof lap record in qualifying... https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/christophorus/porsche-christophorus-stefan-bellof-nuerburgring-record-12756.html
Actual record is 6:11 for qualifying lap and 6:25 for in race lap.I am sure that 1997 GT1 cars,LMP1 and LMP2 can beat that record. By the way the performante's nurburgring lap time surprised me.It was astounding to see how fast it corners. Here is the video https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6ULSUcERlQQ
Lamborghini Rips Nürburgring Production Car Record Into Shreds; Lights Those Shreds On Fire; Casts Ashes To The Wind To Blow In The Face Of Porsche
I suppose it would be a net negative (except for safety of course) though because of the weight gain. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Here's what one guy said over at LP: stock Pirelli's, LDS and MRS options from what the rep said. the hater comments will be in later today the rep also said with trofeo R's it should perform even better.
Anyone with a brain, including all of the manufacturers, put in these roll bars for these tests. Stupid otherwise.... Great job lambo, thinking outside the box and keeping it "simple".
30s faster than a 488 is an incredible achievement, especially on their first try. It will be interesting to see how everyone else responds with their next car.
hmmm, really? afaik, Porsche and Nissan did not have roll cages in their previous record cars. and a roll cage is not dead weight if it is attached to the suspension mounts giving increased chassis stiffness that can accommodate non stock suspensions settings. just saying...
488 laptime its from a Magazine(Sport Auto), not official from Ferrari. Usually they are 10secs off. I guess the Performante will do 7:00's with that pro driver from Sport Auto.
YESSSSS!!!! Join the Dark side Again! I just got back from the Aventador S unveiling and congratulated Edoardo, GM of Lambo BH, who raced with Marco Mapelli - driver of the record times for the Av SV and the Perfomante at the Ring. What an incredible accomplishment any way you look at it. The patented Aero design through the rear wing just keeps the car planted around the corners. Marco is flying in the Perfomante. I can't wait to test this car out at Thermal! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my 16M
