Very nice, hubs. The 360 rims are really growing on me more and more. The give the car a much fresher look and since they are original parts I think even a stock enthusiast will agree that it's a great mod. Did you use any spacers or new bolts to fit them oder did you just throw them on and theiy fit right away?
I've had this car 15 years so it took me a while to leave the stock look! I did a fair amount of research here on FChat. I have a late 348 that had the 25mm rear offset built into the stock rear wheels so no spacers were used. I did purchase new bolts from Ricambi / hill engineering to refresh all round - 52mm stock 360 size (348 front are 55mm, rear late 348 are 80mm I believe). Tires are Pirelli PZero in 225/40 - 18 front and 285/35 - 18 rear. The rear do protrude a slight amount more than stock but is not childish or offensive at least to me. Handling seems great.
Brian, I have the 360 "starfish" wheels on my 1995 348 Spider as well. My set up is identical to yours except I went with Vredestein Sessanta 295/35 in the rear. The late spiders use 55 mm botls in front & 80 mm bolts for the rear (Hill Engineering/Ricambi!)
Hi Michael, I read all the early posts on set up including your posts. At the last minute I chickened out from the wider 295/35 to the slightly narrower 285/35s in the rear- too scared they would be sticking out past the rear fender. I'm really happy with how they look.
Oh, yah, sure, you betcha... dat dar sure looks pretty, eh? Kidding. I grew up in Minnesota so I know all about the excitement of getting your car out on those first sunny spring days. Congrats on the 348, looks great! Randy
taken Saturday at the Concorso d'Eleganza at the New Orleans Museum of Art. We had about 40 or so Ferraris show up, and Ferrari of Houston brought a few cars including a LaFerrari. Image Unavailable, Please Login
No, it's not the one that I think you are referring to. We went with one that was a little higher mileage and few lower dollars.
After months of waiting for spring and a sleepless night before the big day I picked up my 348tb from the dealer yesterday. A childhood dream cometrue, love every inch of this car! I have some 360 wheels and an x-ost exhaust waiting in the garage that will be added next week (muffler) and after the summer (wheels).
Some test fitting, can't wait for the snow to melt so I can get an alignment and lower it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Edited - thought I'd add the unretouched photo as well. This is in Glendale in front of the old Grand Central Airport Terminal, recently restored. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
