    Very neat car.
One of the very few projects you can build, enjoy, and then get your $$$$ back.

Hoping for 300ish at the crank, it has PMO carbs, headers and sport exhaust as well.

I have a 2100 pound (wet) version with a Weber 2.7 @ 225HP... And when I drive it in anger I am just plain impressed how well it pushes the car so strongly all the way to 7200RPM. 300 HP will be a stunner.

Here is the motor. Done at the end of 2011 at 101K miles, car has 105K miles now so not even 4K on the new rebuild. Car was a 930 clone down to the boost gauge in the tach. With the new motor I guess the previous owner wanted 930ish power. Funny thing is I had a white 930 before this. So as soon as I seen this, I saw lightweight track/street car in my mind.

Oh hell yes. Great looking power-plant.

He did a stellar job, but why would someone want a non-turbo 930 looker? Go lightweight always!

You just need a turbo car if you want the turbo look ~ right?.. :)

Yeah I miss mine....505 option, I sold it 2 years ago for under 50K, I want to jump off a bridge over that car on some days! LOL!
Here she is and getting loaded on the truck when I sold her. Notice the original owner ordered it with "turbo badge delete" option. It was on the COA. Pretty col. I miss the boost for sure!

Oh man... Well I am sure you enjoyed the car. That counts for something... But $50k eh?.. [insert sick emoji here] Gulp.

Very damn cool. But you know man.. I prefer the naturally aspirated light set up that you're building on. Turbo cars are cool, but you KNOW that they absolutely DONT turn when on boost. The front gets way too light and the damn things wont turn. Example I way prefer a GT3 over the macho GT2. The GT3 is an epic all around performer. The GT2?

You are concocting the right potion now. Me & my crew cant wait to see more.

Yeah I started out with a lightweight 911sc 2300 ish lbs. 214HP (same guys helping on my current build, built this car), then at the same time owned a 993 (to refined for my taste) then the 930 slant which was just a dream as a kid that I had a chance to fulfill, then another black SC street car (gold BBS). With all that info, I looked back and have tried to build a car with all 4 cars wrapped into 1! The most exciting/RAW by far was the first lightweight SC, and I have built this current car part for part the same. EXCEPT, the widebody from the slant and the color from the slant/993 (GP white). The last street Porsche which was an SC black with gold BBS and 46MM PMO carbs. Guess what, this current car has 46MM PMO carbs (previous owner). So they all tie in and I have cherry picked the best of all cars to build my absolute ultimate street track show car (I swear it my last build). Its by far the most "all in car" I have ever built. REALLY looking forward to it. Cheers!

Porsche builds are really fun stuff. So many ideas and options. Always great to see what others are interpreting as their favorite choices of engines, body mods, interiors, etc.
