Appears to be struggling to sell this at $102K so ....put the price up? https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Ferrari-308-1980/SSE-AD-4171324/?Cr=0
https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Ferrari-348-1993/SSE-AD-4606260/?Cr=1 I have a feeling I will regret this.... Would love feedback from fellow f-chatters. I think this is priced for a quick sale.
I wouldn't put much trust in the "owned by Niki Lauda" story, unless there is written or photographic evidence. "a company associated with" does not mean he drove it. Lauda worked for Ferrari in 1993 - if he drove a Ferrari, it would have been owned by the team or a distributor. The red interior is also a pommy obsession, says to me the first owner was a brit. Bit like the Twiggy Miura - a story invented by brokers and applied to 2 separate cars. 2 factors will make it hard to sell down the track, it's a UK import plus the red interior. But it does sound like the right work has been done, even if the current owner can't spell
I can't remember exactly what asking was (was it just over 200k?), but if it's the same one I saw just delivered to sydney, it fetched Below what I remember asking to be
sorry, I assumed you were thinking of buying the car, not the owner selling. Doesn't matter what we think, 99% of Ferrari owners think fchat is a WOT
This one is new and reads fairly well. https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Ferrari-365-1976/SSE-AD-4617539/?Cr=12
It does read well, but... 1. the engine may still have sodium valves = $50K rebuild 2. P4000 tyres haven't been made for about 10 years, so that'll be how old they are, unless they are the Longstone repros
