    those seats look nice

as far as the cars worth, I have not idea, but I suppose it can be stripped for parts but that seems like more trouble than its worth

Def a car for parts. A clean GTB is $140k. Imagine a car like this one fixed, would never sell for $100k, not even $80k because of the history and how easy it is to get a clean 599. Even if fixed with new parts and by Ferrari shop.

Engine, gearbox, seats and 3 rotors seem to be fine.

    thank you for the tip

how much the engine, transmission, seats, 3 rotors and calipers and wheels will fetch?

    very tempted.

seats alone will be 10,000 USD judging from stradale seats ?

All depends which RHD Asian country the car is registered in, as many charge huge import duties which could make a car already in such a country well worth repairing in comparison to a US/Euro located car.

I would go no higher than the $35 K you offered.
Are you thinking part it out or fix it ?
If the engine is damaged (shaft forced into the block) you may come up short even at $35 K.
Just because the engine starts does not make it damage free.

I was going to make the same comment. This could also hold true for the gearbox.

Something to consider if you want to part it out. I have done this and made much more than if I sold the car as is. However, be prepared to have to deal with a lot of people. Accessing some parts can take you many hours. If the part you are selling has a cosmetic defect, be sure the buyer knows/sees it in advance. Shipping can be expensive and may deter some buyers. And finally, it can be a long time before you realize that nice profit. ;)

Here's a real example. I had a guy who wanted the driver side door panel because someone who did a repair on his car damaged it while removing it. Well I had no clue how to properly remove it and would probably do the same damage. So I had to hire a professional to remove it. I told the buyer this and he included what I had to pay the pro in his payment.
