Testing was impressive, Mercedes and Ferrari are very close, Red Bull is up there on speed (or will be come Australia anyways), but I reckon Renault will let them down in the end to be serious WCC contenders.

IMO Vettel/Kimi is a stronger driver combo than Hamilton/Bottas, so I've voted Ferrari. With a bit of hope thrown in there.

Ferrari with Kimi the winner. He then retires and Max V. takes over. Alonso can go to red bull then.

Scuderia all the way, providing they dont start to try messing around with the LWB version.Good news is there is less chance of messing up the pit stop strategy.

Would be nice to see someone other than Merc win it but Ferrari have had a poor record of in-season development last few years. Hope that changes and also that RB/Renault get in the mix.

This is Ferrarichat and Ferrari did well in testing. There is only one viable option for the true tifoso! Forza Ferrari!!!

Looking forward to a great season long Ham v Vet battle - that would be box office gold!

    F1 is 1F spelled backwards...

Vettel will have to stop crashing both himself and Kimi for any WCC by Ferrari. The 2017 rules will better fit Kimi's driving style, depending on how fit he still is. Unfortunately, Vettel has the launch ability, and Kimi, the lap time ability.

Hamilton is a strange one, hard for me to not simultaneously like and hate him. How Mercedes deals with him and his teammate will be a major factor for 2017.

Red Bull have the driver line up, and those guys are paid bonuses on wins/points. They relentlessly update, and the updates are rarely poor.

I'm gonna go with the young guns of RBR. Long season.

I am officially NOT going to Montreal so I can save up for a Giulia QV. Sure enough the testing looks good right after I cancelled my VIP reservation. I don't care if they win because I will be screaming from my sofa at home anyway! :D I think MB may be sand bagging. If Max and Daniel keep the hell away from the leaders on the first few laps and don't try to cheat by missing corners and getting passes by the stewards, SF should be competitive. That ag excursion at Mexico was horrible. Brazil was just a fair pass in the rain.

Reading between the lines tells me that the suspension ban seems to affect RB quite badly, suddenly leaving them with a lot of development work still to do. The faulty MGU-K being another setback.

They were quite outspoken and positive during the winter, that confidence has def. faded.
