GTO coming FINALLY

I have been negotiating to purchase a 599 GTO for the last week or two. I have wanted one since the beginning but never pulled the trigger . it looks. Like I have deal on just exactly the car I want . it has been a long time coming

It does not appear to be on the on the Fchat owners list more details once I have the papers signed just to be safe

Yes I considered that car however since it is a consignment Bud could not get a deal to work .are you by chance the owner if so very nice ..

 

There is a beautiful white one with blue stripes at FoW.

That is a very nice car but it is not the one ..although my car was at FOW a couple of years ago where I saw it

 

Happy for you Larry! I remember when you first posted your desire for one. I see you are a man of your word. There have been quite a few at FOW over the years - wonder which one will now be yours.

 

Congratulations and welcome to the club. The 599 GTO is a great car. Mine now has just under 26,000 km and I have enjoyed every km with it. Very rewarding and makes your hair stand up every time you drive it.

Signed the paperwork today and put down a deposit via FEDX will wire payment Monday then send my trade to the dealer when I get my car,
I can say it only has 3500 mile and is a Ferrari certified car with the new power warranty included in the deal
The car is red Rosso corsa with dark top

Larry, sounds like a fine GTO! I think the dark roof contrasts nicely with the Rosso Corsa and makes that model look more special than a solid color version. The flying buttress design lends itself well to the dual color look as there is a natural break between the two colors.
The V12 sound alone is worth the price of admission, way to go!!!

 

That's the tough part over the last few months I bought several cars and had to get rid of atleast one car . so I always knew I would rather have a GTO then the scud so that is one car i.e. The 2009 scud. The second is and this hurts my 2001 barchetta .. I have only owned that car for about 18 months and it is a great car but I recently purchased a continuation Shelby 289'cobra which allows me to drive topless roadster style and don't care if this car gets wet.which allows me to do a nice Saturday drive.
So in the end I traded the scud and barchetta for the 599 gto.
I lost no money on the trade so all is good.
And I finally will have my GTO which I have wanted since they came out and my color combo is the way I would have gotten it from the factory had I had the chance

 

Congrats Larry. I assume it's the Scottsdale GTO. Great spec, mileage and F car warranty. You will NOT be disappointed. The GTO is an incredibly special car and you will soon forget any other cars you've owned. Just remember to watch out for the never ending onslaught of gawkers chasing your F1 sound. Enjoy !

That's it .. and i suspect those cars will be forgotten soon enough. I always felt the only car I would sell my scud for would be the GTO so that's what I did.
