    These places are the parts supply houses of the future for older Ferraris.

    I don't get the depression here. I love junk yards. If anything, these are too tidy. Cars are made of parts and having the right part without sacrificing quality is awesome.

    I think its "depressing" (a bit of a strong word, but oh well, literary license) in the sense that some really beautiful cars that were loved and desired by many, are no longer what they once were.
    these cars generally didn't get to where they are due to happy circumstances either.
