    Hi Folks,
On another brake-related issue, I will need to replace my front rotors sometime this year. I tried searching the forums for compatible cross-drilled replacements and saw that as of a few years ago such things weren't available. Does anyone know if that's still the case? A casual search online turned up specs from Brembo but no actual confirmation that they provide them. Tire Rack seems to be their big distributor and they don't have a listing for them. If aftermarket aren't available the OEM ones are kind of pricey (of course I'm not surprised).
    Thanks!

What about Willwood brakes? They seem to have everything, or they'll make it.

Thanks, folks. I haven't checked Maranello but did see that Eurospares and the US-based part shops have the OEM parts. I haven't tried Wilwood - thanks for the tip. And no, not the first set. The originals lasted about 40K for the front and 42K for the rears. Those replacements were OEM but the prices were a lot lower when I did the job back in 2001. I've gotten a lot more wear out of this set.

OEM are expensive crap, Porterfield makes good ones. Brembo had a nice upgrade to F50 brakes.

First Q is: WHO has these rotors and for which price ...

Second Q: if no one has them, what rotors ar useable.

I heared people used certain Mercedes rotors; had to redrill the 5 lugs ... (unconfirmed).

We have to find rotors that can be used as raw material if thats the only way.

Imo, oem rotors (if ever available) were $4000 or more each one ... pfffff

Mine lasted 85K kms, I grinded them then but were really over the limit ... :)

Don't get drilled rotors. Slotted rotors much better.
