If you want to have some fun with a bozo trying to sell you a car,& they say the ac system "only" needs Freon, look them straight in the eye, and say, "really, Freon has a shelf life of 99 years, so it didn't wear out, what happened to the Freon "? And watch the gears in his brain, LOCK UP. He can't tell you it leaked out, can't tell you it needs "fresh" Freon, & they usually just clam up. I was at a car recently, with a friend that owns a full service garage, we walked by a nice looking, '69 Mercury Cougar, with factory air. The car had D, )(Dealer) plates on it. I asked the man if the ac worked, and he said, drumroll please.... "it only needs Freon". Before I could say a word, my mechanic buddy said, "let see, reseal the compressor, replace the ac lines, dryer, condenser, evaporator, put dye in the system, check for leaks,..., figure about $12-14 hundred dollars for the "just needs Freon", air conditioning to get it working. The more Norm talked, the more red in the face the dealer got! Would like to mention more, but I have to get the lightening on my house, "recharged" this afternoon! Yikes!
Just spotted this t Coupe on CL! No affiliation, etc. https://longisland.craigslist.org/cto/6019695840.html
Certainly worth a call if you want a t coupe, but doesn't it seem a bit strange that he spent the $$$ to do a major service 500 miles ago and yet the AC still needs a recharge? Regards, Jerry
Oh my! This is practically in my own backyard. I know of one F-chatter near me that has a t-coupe, but this doesn't seem to be that one. Hard to believe there are TWO of them nearby!
In addition to the timing belt, there is a timing chain in these cars. The roller bearing recall needs to be done or else you risk grenading the motor. In order to get to this, the front cover has to come off and it's often overlooked.

Please don't talk about this listing. I am interested in the car, have exchanged some info with the owner, and need to get down there to take a first person look. East Coast weather is not being terribly cooperative..... I'm hoping not to draw a crowd of every well funded, well informed F-chatter to this potential opportunity.....
Saw this on eBay: 1989 Ferrari Mondial T Cabriolet | eBay Car is local to me in the Clearwater, FL area. I'm sure I've seen it when it was in for service at a local ind. shop. Clean. I know the prior owner of this car has/had a number of more recent Ferraris, so I'm sure it was well cared for.

I have a 89 Mondial t Corsa red with black seats and red carpet. The car has approx 10k miles (little less) and WAS in mint condition when I bought it about 4 yrs ago. I did about $1k damage to lower front bumper (not that bad) and the clutch went out plus the alternator isn't working. I bought the car because I've always wanted to own a Ferrari and it was fun and a beautiful car but just want to get rid since I'm have a few medical problems that hampers me from doing much. If anyone is interested my email is [email protected] please make a reasonable offer and you could be the happy owner of a rare 1 of 42 coupes ever in the USA. Oh I still have the orig tires too made in Germany stamped on them but not on the car it has now tires. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/6093584222.html That engine bay looks dirty or is it just the pics? After a full service you would at least expect that to be clean looking.
Mine has got the same miles but looks absolute clean in the engine bay and interior. Would also not sell it for 28.000 dollar, that's a real bargain in Europe for a 3.2 Mondial.
Hi All, I have just had to list my Mondial. Let me know if of interest or if there are any questions. Thanks https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/ferrari/mondial/ferrari-mondial-3-2-red-manual-coupe-rhd/7229705
