    Welcome to the forum Steve!

Don't let anyone get you down. Haters are gonna hate, as they say.

I, for one, like your modifications; it's always interesting to see what people do in the quest to enjoy and customize their cars.

Stick around Steve. The mods aren't exactly my style but who cares. The car still looks great! Ignore the obnoxious rude folks.

Looks like a kit car to me but, as others have said, if the owner likes it, that's all that matters.

Would like to hear what owner thinks of way it drives esp with the airbag suspension. How does it compare to stock?

My only issue with theses type of drastic mods is performance. I don't mind it if somehow it helps the car improve. Does it handle better; does it go quicker/faster? Are they needed because the engine is more powerful/car lighter? Huge wing for downforce b/c more power etc.
Anyways it is different hopefully a better performer.

Why would anyone attack the poster and his car? This mod has been done and clearly he is proud of it.The situation would be different if he saw this car and was asking opinions whether or not he should replicate it on his stock car. Opinions would then be welcomed since he is soliciting them.

The other day I was speaking to a friend and I mentioned my 1 yeard old grandson by name. He replied by indignantly stating that it " is a horrible, ugly name and why would his parents do that to him". Highly inappropriate and downright rude.

I thank you all for recognizing different can be good. What does everybody gain if we all have cars that look the same? Ive been through this with the NSX community.

Anyhow Im here to contribute to other owners my knowledge gained from taking this car from stock to what I have now. Most of the work has be done by my hands, and with some help from my buddy's bodyshop for paint and bodywork.

For the air suspension question...I worked with AirLiftPerformance at SEMA time to build a custom Airbag strut using factory 458 struts. It was installed and built by one of the best in the air lift suspension industry.

I tracked my R35 GTR a few times with pleasing results. I also cannot complain...This 458 on air suspension is just as sporty as the stock suspension. I drive aggressive in the canyons and many freeway runs. I almost forget its on air. Its driven the same way it was when it was stock. I am known to do a few donuts here and there...lol. Its is more versatile than the factory lift option. What is better than instant ride height adjustments? My bumpers and undertray dont get scraped anywhere.

Roads where I live are pretty harsh. Without this suspension...my widebody 458 would not even be drivable. I take it everywhere...It even got me up and over curbing when it was onset at Universal Studios. They used my car in the background of fight scene for Fast and Furious 8. Had me drive over curbs into a backlot movie set.

My modifications worked out well, so far no major issues but people's feelings here.

I've learned in life you cant please everyone.

    Cheers...

Color was based of FIAT Azzuro Aquamarina. Color was too pastel for my taste. My painter added corse white pearl to the formula and created this. I would describe it as grey pearl.

I'm curious about the GT3 mirrors which I think look 100 times better than the stock mirrors. How did you get them installed? Did you change the doors as well or just modify the outer door panels?

To install GT3 mirrors I had to remove old mirror, which left holes and those were TIG welded before car was recently repainted.

Whatever makes you happy you should do with your car. In the end, that is the purpose of it. What others think is irrelevant.

Moisturizing is critical. Should use pure coconut oil before bed and a natural aloe cream in the morning after a shower. Bio oil on your face will leave you looking youthful and refreshed.

When West Coast Customs builds a Ferrari, haha. I spoke to JB about this build a few weeks ago, and it wasn't done the way it was supposed to be hence its quick listing after receiving the car back.
