Hello, 1988 328 GTS My passenger side rocker switch that controls the location of air flow (windshield or floor), is not operating correctly. The indicator lights stay in one location when the switch is operated. I am hoping it is just a switch cleaning. Have have searched the forum but, was unsuccessful. I am almost sure I read a detailed thread about the removal and cleaning of these switches here. Any help or direction with this is greatly appreciated. Thanks, J
here is a good thread http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/technical-q/96823-328-led-temperature-control-units.html
I had the same at my 88/328 when I touched the wires it would work sometimes I found some of them where broken at the snap in connector close to the crimping point,I removed them all one by one and resolder them using the same connector all good now for the last 3 years.
I have the same issue on my '88 328. It is not a calibration issue. When it works, the LEDs correspond correctly. But 50% of the time I operate the switch nothing happens. Must be a bad connection, but I don't see any obviously bad solder joints on the board inside the switch. Is there another connector I should be looking at?
