    Yes!

    In early 1967 Stewart joined the Jeff Beck Group who were well-known in the UK.

    By 1969 he had released his first solo album to acclaim.

    By 1970 he'd become part of the famous Faces with Ronnie Wood, and had released his superb album Gasoline Alley.

    I think he was lent the Miura P400 in 1970-ish, bear in mind he didn't get OVM 8 H 'officially' till July 1972, by when he already had a Miura SV on order.

    I'd say Stewart became an International star by 1971 when his solo album Every Picture Tells a Story made him a household name.

    Indeed, that white P400 was a "Press" car of sorts for the UK concessionaire, and the idea of getting then-celebrities (who were only too happy to oblige) to be seen in them doubtless sold a few more Miuras! After all, it began a lifelong enthusiasm for the marque by Rod.

    FWIW, I don't think Sandie ever owned a Miura, not the white car or the lime green car on EE plates (assuming those are 2 different cars), the Miuras were promotional props.

    Stephen, you should contact Getty Images, they are licensed to sell you full-size prints of the images of OVM 8 H by Victor Blackman.

    I should, I do not know any other celebrity who has been as consistently dedicated to ownership of Lamborghinis for five decades as Rod Stewart has.

    I don't think they knew much about Miuras but they understand design and style,the judges were Sir Jonathan Ive [in blue] designer of the I phone, I pad etc,Viscount Linley [in black] chairman of Christies and designer of furniture etc,Marcus Waring [ in beige ] very well respected top chef, also stood at the back was Chris Hoy Olympic Athlete, other Judge not in the picture was Lord Antony Bamford who knows about cars [owns two 250 GTO's]
    The Good festival Concours is different from other concours as cars are judged on style,this year [2014] the Miura won the GT class beating a GT40 and a Ferrari 250 LM

    1. Can someone send a cutout or photograph the profile of the front bumper?
    2. Does anyone have a modern base coat paint code or the formula for Blue Notte and Blue Notte Metallic?
    3. Can someone send a photograph on how the rockers attach on the front/forward portion?

    I want to thank you in advance for your time and knowledge. It is greatly appreciated.

    1. Does anyone now of a modern paint code for Blue Notte or Blue Notte Metallic?
    2. Can anyone send a cutout or pictures of the profile of the front bumper? Does it match the profile of the rear bumper?

    4. Can someone send a picture of how the rockers are attached at the forward part of the rockers?

    While visiting a friend in UK we found the attached picture in his archive (probably taken in the late eighties). I believe this it's a late P400, although it can be a P400S as well.

    The car has an unusual aerial on the roof. Anyone who knows which VIN this is and what happened with the car ?

    Both 3533 & 4400 are not allocated Miura chassis numbers....

    This image captures why I do what I do.

    The lady contacted me looking for a very special 25th wedding anniversary present for her husband who is a noted collector and racer.

    It took some effort, but the net result was the ex-General Motors Miura P400 has found another truly great home.

    Great period images - I posted the Vogue magazine spread a few years back. It seems in the early days, lying or sitting on Miuras was a thing.
