Are your HRE wheels fully polished? Or, is the face gloss silver with just the polished rim? Any other images you could send me? Thanks!

Thanks. I sent you an e-mail asking about tires. I'm finally ready to move out on getting something similar to your set-up.

For accuracy, this car was *not* originally Verde Pino.

s/n 18193 was originally Verde Scuro, with paint code 20.G.355. Interestingly, the only other UK 365 BB recorded as being Verde Scuro (s/n 17893) had paint code 20.G.186. I can't be certain if there was a difference, but there must be a reason for the different number... (metallic vs non-metallic?).

There is another 365 BB *in* the UK (though not originally delivered here) which is dark green (s/n 17839, which may well have been Verde Pino when new - it certainly looks like it's that colour today).

@John - no, the car on Mel Nichols' book cover is a LHD car. I don't know for sure which s/n, but I do wonder if it's this car (with front lights swapped):
    Ferrari 365 GT/4 BB ? Modena Motorsport

Since we're on unusual colour Boxers, it's worth posting this link if not shared somewhere on fchat already. The one-and-only 365 GT4/BB in Verde Germoglio (s/n 18959):
Einziger Ferrari 365 BB in Verde Germoglio - AUTO MOTOR UND SPORT

17839 was originally Verde Pino 106-G-30.

18959 will be shown by its Munich based owner at Villa d'Este Concours May 2017.

I saw a green 365 Boxer on the M4 heading East not far from Heathrow Airport some time in 1976. Couldn't have been many green Boxers in the UK, or anywhere, at that or any time so could well have been Richard Wright and in this car? I was about 12 or 13 at the time and I absolutely loved it. I then started looking for a suitable Boxer to buy and then had to persuade my father to buy it. He bought the car in my profile pic in 1978, #17869. :)

What is the chassis number of the Richard Wright Boxer?

Rick Wright didn't own 365 Boxer #18193 until March, 1979 so couldn't have been him I saw in a green Boxer in 1976.

Great picture there! I wonder how long it was transported on that open trailer.

Jacques Swaters was founder and owner of Ecurie Francorchamps/Garage Francorchamps for about 50 years. Belgian race driver and Ferrari importer for decades.
Blu Swaters was introduced in 1992 at the presentation of the 456 GT in Brussels.
