What is the issue with battery? Just have to keep it on tender? Do most need replacing annually? I have read issues, but just getting a base line for reality.

I replaced my original battery few months ago as it would not charge past a certain percentage and voltage was low.
    Annual? No way
My car sat at ferrari for a month and dealer let it die which was my issu

Some people have more issues it seems than others, not sure why

Fair enough and battery is cheap (well at least under warranty).

    Thx for feedback.

I'm on my 2nd FF, since 2011. They have been daily drivers in NW Ohio along with a California. I put SottoZeros on both cars for the winter. I don't have another car to drive! The lift comes in handy once every couple months or so. I hate the Apple CarPlay in my Cali T and will never order it in any future Ferrari. The most serious flaw is there are not separate volume controls for phone, music, map so if you turn down the music volume then answer the phone you will hear nothing! Typical Apple software (even though I have had most all of the iPhone models).

I may have been the first to call the FF Ferrari's best kept secret! They are amazing cars with few flaws. Mine has a front camera, VERY helpful when parking against a front concrete bumper! However they put the camera video into the speedometer display which gets blocked by the steering wheel spokes. It should be in the stereo where the California's all have been.

This one is light silver which shows all of the flowing lines far better than my first FF which was dark metallic grey.

I've gone through 2 batteries in each car but NOW I have the fix!! And I will post it separately but ... when a situation causes the FF battery to go somewhat flat (dead) the charging system and the Ferrari trickle charger will NEVER fully recover it. It will remain barely keeping a charge for more than a couple days. The fix is easy, buy a Battery Tender! Charge the battery with the Battery Tender for a few days, drive the car a few days, charge it again with the Battery Tender for a couple days and the battery now seems fully recovered, just like new! This is the one that I have. Battery Tender® Plus 12V @ 1.25A ... it works!

    Good luck with your search!

Good info all around. I've taken note of the battery tender as well. Thank you.
