Since he has been driving not only race cars but also road and classic Ferraris, he could give us his views on them.

 

F1 and Le Mans commentary, a true insiders viewpoint. Insight on the regs, proposed regs, tactics, strategy, how races developed, why strategies worked (or didn't), etc.

Any chance of getting live commentary during F1 races?

Also, I like the idea of a series of "driving impressions" on various vintage road and race cars.

 

Memories with Marc. Write ups of cars that stand out, epic drives, races, events, etc. It's always interesting to get someone who really lived it's perspective.

I would like to know what changed with Arrivabene and Machionne running things vs how they were previously. Ferrari lost their way for some time and I'm not sure if they simply needed time for their management structure to be effective, or if it was a matter of finding the right people. Ferrari chewed through people at a rate seemingly higher than any other team. Why would they dump Aldo Costa and the other whom the F1 world has been sold as very talented individuals? Did Machionne have a big picture dogma, or was/is it focused more on an individual level hence their attrition rate?

When did Ferrari discover their updates were not working as well on the track as they were on CFD and wind-tunnel models? Ferrari seemed to have an issue with that for some time.

Just kidding - that is a great accomplishment.

 

I met him briefly in New Orleans. Nice guy...I'm interested in behind the scenes stories as well as thoughts on how the cars over the years feel to drive. He did a few demo laps in Bob Moellers F1 car at NOLA. It was the most impressive thing I have ever seen a "car" do.

 

I'd love to hear about how Ferrari deal with their client teams, how they support them etc. Also about how they seek and develop young driving talent?

 

I'd be interested in where he thought Marco Mattiacci went wrong. Though more than anything else, his feedback on all the older passenger cars would be great!
