    running the 355 on the motorway today(in the rain at 80mph)all was fine for 20miles then the speedo ,tacho ,oil pressure ,oil temp ,water temp,susp light all failed all at once the car still starts and stops on the key,no engine slow down lights or engine check,just the rest is dead ...any ideas i've had a search for this problem with no joy ,i've checked the fuse's

    any ideas please thanks

    Wow - these are all different fuses - so it is not that (as you mentioned).

    I would also say it is probably not an ECU - since the gauges are individual sensors.

    The only thing I would try - cut of the main power switch (in the bonnet) - let it stay off for a few minutes - turn it back on - see if it resets everything...

    I hate to say it but if that doesn't help I think you will have to take this one into your local independent or dealer to have a look.

    are try that later and have a poke around under the dash,is there any fuses anywere else other than the fuse box .

    There are 2 fuse boxes in the 355. Under the dash on the passenger side (in the footwell.

    And on the drivers side of the front luggage area - in a little compartment above the tire area - removable panel.

    The owners manual will give you a schematic of what fuses are in each - for I do not remember all of them :)

    Try the reset first - unless a lot of water got into the fuse box (which I have not heard of) - I would doubt you have a specific fuse problem - if you do - you most likely have a number of fuses out - and that would lead me to think you have an bigger electrical problem...

    thanyou rich didnt know there was one in the passanger foot well
    found the one in the luggage compartment
    that one is all ok as i can see,but havnt checked the relays, i will check the others out in the footwell ,the car is not wet so thats out,i hoping there is a main fuse that all the guages run threw b4 they split up into seperate lines
    but as you say i think its a bigger problem

    The one in the passenger footwell - will be the one with most of the fuses that control the dash - so that would be a good place to look. Do the main power cut of first - that way you have ruled that out - that way you don't have to start yanking the fuses if not necessary. The one in the footwell has many more than the one in the luggage compartment...

    BTW, that main switch is in the right side of the trunk, under a similar cover as the fuse panel on the left side.

    Turn it off...wait a few seconds, then turn it on. Start the car without touching the gas pedal...and let it idle for several minutes with out touching the gas or anything. Suppposedly this will reset the parameters.

    Try the "A.C. System" fuse in the passenger footwell. i.e. Fuse 25 (or 24 on later cars). The suspension light may have appeared because of the failure of the one of the sensors powered by Fuse 25. What year is your car?
