Just purchased a 2016 488 Spider can anyone give insight to why the brakes squeal so much?
    - I've had them cleaned by the dealership (excess silicon removed)
    - inspected by the dealership
    - I've gone fast braked hard (several times)
I was told that it's ceramic breaks and that's what happens BUT I had a '14 and '15 458 both with ceramic breaks and it was NEVER like this. I feel like I got screwed all that money for a car and I'm embarrassed at every red light.

The following should be performed on a closed road or track:

Standard bedding in procedure is to get the brakes warm first by stopping several times (5-6) from 40 mph to 10 mph. drive normally for 2 minutes, then do several (8-10) medium pressure stops from 60 mph to 10. Drive normally for 2 minutes to allow the brake temps to stabilize. Then perform 6-8 hard pressure stops from 80 to 30 mph. Try to avoid engaging the ABS. As soon as you feel the brake pedal soften/go long, stop driving and allow the brakes to fully cool down ALL the way. Usually this takes care of any squealing and makes the brakes much more responsive.
