This is the only photo I found which unfortunately may not be very helpful. It will be a month before I get my car back, perhaps someone else can photograph this area for you. Ivan Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ivan, Would it be possible to tell me, or make a pic, showing where these 2 pipes go through ??? They seem to go behind the pedals ????
I would be glad to take a photo when I get the car back in mid-May. There are several people in this forum currently restoring their Ghiblis, I would think someone could take a few photos. Ivan
I've only this but I believe it doesn't match the request, it is indeed from a 1967 Ghibli. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello Candide... I was thinking about this when you first posted your question, but then got involved with a bunch of other stuff! Anyway, I hunted through all the pictures I took of my car that I have before/during the body work and found these two.. You can see the big hole where the Bonaldi servo unit is located. Just above and to the left (circled in red) you can see the two brake reservoir lines coming out where they are taped together. Just above to the right are the two threaded studs which hold the wiper motor. Let me know if this answers your questions, or if more info is needed... Grazie Francesco ! Unfortunately, I have the version w/ only 1 booster, and I would need to know where the pipes go through between the inner of the car and the engine compartment.
Thx Mike, I take a pic of yours, get a closer look to how it is in my compartment, and turn back to you !
Here are 2 pics of my car, I only have 1 booster. I need pics / to know how many pipes go throught the hole in the center of my pic : 2 ? 3 ? 4 ? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello Candide... On my car, it appears the cable that controls the fresh air flap located IN the passenger side frame rail, comes through this hole... Hope this helps... Mike
Hi Candide, I visited Techno Classica, there was Ghibli SS in Coys auction area, I took some photos, here is one photo with brake lines coming into cabin, vacuum hose and hood/bonnet wire too? I have seen photos with hose in that hole in your photo, but what for? Have you found good source for rubber grommets, some have difficult sizes. Juha Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you very much Juha. I would want to know : - how many brake pipes go through this hole, - how many sheaths and ropes go through this hole. - where does the brake pipe going from the m/c to the rear go through ??? - I can see a sheath in the foreground, is it the choke ? The air intake ? Where does it go through ? Thx to All.
I am having the interior trimmed and need good photos of the inside, back and bottom of the glove box. I specifically need to know where leather and felt was used and how the leather was folded around the edges. Please only photos of original non-restored glove boxes. Ivan
Hi Ivan... Oops... You asked me for some pictures of these areas, and I completely forgot! I will get some this afternoon and send them to you... Apologies... Mike
hi Ivan... Attached are 4 pictures of my glovebox... The only place felt was used was on the bottom about an inch or so after the curve towards the back (black or dark brown felt).. Let me know if you need anything else... Mike Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sold yesterday for 175 K Euro which looks cheap unless the photos are very flattering.... Bonhams : 1969 Maserati Ghibli SS 4.9-Litre Coupé Chassis no. AM115/49 1082 Julian

It does look really quite good in the photos. Would be nice in Rosso Campanelle too. It is interesting that it purports to be an SS, and yet has no '49' on the chassis plate. It must have been a rather early one I would have thought, as it still has no headrests and early type internal door trim...were there any build sheets shown?? Seems like a good buy at any rate. M
