Hi Sorry for being commercial; but are you aware of the small range of Pirelli P7 N4 tyres for the 930 PIRELLI CINTURATO P7 | Longstone Tyres Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes just ordered from you two weeks ago, I can’t believe how fast I got the tires from you, the car looks so much better now, thank you!
I recently followed up with some leads after speaking with the original owner of my 1977 Silver 930 Turbo and was able to track down owner #2. He is alive and shared some great history and stories about the car. I could tell that connecting brought nice memories back to him in his voice. The most interest thing he mentioned was how in 1983 he took the car to the Porsche Parade in the Ozarks and entered the stock Turbo Division Auto Cross and took first place. In his words, he smoked the competition. He said it was likely due to the fact that he was 42 years old and drove without fear while many others who entered the class were older and wiser around the course. I thought to myself as we spoke that how I was 42 when I purchased the car last year. I managed to contact the PCA and fortunately they had some documents from the Parade in 1983. I was happy to see, Dr. Robert S. Brown's name listed at the top, winning the 930 class.... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Jamie, your post brought back old memories, those were the days I was involved in the exotic car business. Bob Cann was in business with my father, Mike Willhoit, Hyle Daughtry at the time. # 13 on the 911 list was also involved, Kelley Mckenzie was an accountant and $$$$ man along with pops.
i see 3 mundane 911SC that were quicker? a 930 would be a diabolical cumbersome car for a tight autocross course. i have/had both a 930 and a NA 911 cool post never the less.
I'm told that the panel I have circled in the picture should have a cutout on the left side and this one shown is not correct for a 77. Is that true? The number for this car is 9307800447. Was there a change for later serial numbers? Image Unavailable, Please Login

A quick sampling of a few cars shows all of these have the cutout: 780 0403 780 0417 780 0440 780 0453 780 0700 780 0715
Thank you all. Apparently my car has had a later model panel installed. I don't see any evidence of body damage but the car must have been hit in the rear at some point in the past.
UK '75 Turbo for sale. Silver car. No affiliation. Same dealer had one like this up for £75k in 2013/14. I am guessing there has been some price inflation since then. But, with the Ice Green Metallic and Emerald Green Australian cars, mentioned on this thread recently as expected to be for sale, that's potentially three RHD cars in the mix at once. Unprecedented in recent times... GMUND Cars: Porsche 911 3.0 Turbo Image Unavailable, Please Login
Fred I received a nicely detailed Norev 1/18 scale kit from Pascal in France. The only changes I made were the addition of snorkel headlight washers, larger A/C tail grill, and changed the electric flag mirror to a manual version.
