Note the lack of air inlet/trumpets for the v6 so clearly shown in all the black and white photos.

you're probably right, but Liberty seem to have a much more pragmatic and logical approach than crazy/venal/meglomaniac Bernie, so we might see a return to simpler engines and aero, which would lower the entry price.

Personally, I would dust the old V10's off, revert to no more than 2 elements on the front wing, ban barge boards and all the other crap that hangs off the bodywork, then have some great racing.

Yep love the fact that Elton has now been out qualified 2 races in a row by his "hopeless" team mate ... lol.

I really did think Bottas was selected because he was not going to push Elton, but he is proving better than I expected or proving that Elton is not the greatest human-being to step into a racing car ... as some of his previous seasons have already proved.

Yes Elton is in the top ten of the current F1 grid, and yes he has won deserving WDCs, but he's not significantly faster if at all than Alonso, Button, Nico and now it appears Bottas.

Now if I did not watch English broadcasts, Elton would not be so overly talked about and rated, but I cannot easily get other broadcasts with a more balanced viewpoint.
