Holy technology overload op that front end is from the latest model 600RR. 2013 or newer. The multi spoke wheel design (they were 3 spoke until 2012) is the giveaway. That means you have the super trick big piston Showa front forks. The rear end of this pup is going to have serious performance envy issues lol.

Any late model 600RR had abs as an option. I don't see the abs trigger wheel on yours and that's a good thing.

Are the wheels going to match when you're done? The shaft drive makes rear wheel choices very limited. I've seen spoked wheel conversions on a few CX builds which surely requires mucho denero and effort.

That's more of a Scrambler than a Cafe Racer, a Cafe Racer has clip ons, not handle bars and sport tires, not nobbies.

You're correct. Mine will have the clip one from the CBR and Michelin sport tires.

    :)

    Good eye.

For now, the rear wheel will remain stock. We are upgrading the rear suspension as well with what will likely be Ohlin progressive shocks.

Looks pretty swell so far. Most vintage jdm cafe "builds" are so hacked they make a typical Fiero/308 look like the Mona Lisa. This one looks to be getting done right.

That exhaust must have a fearsome sound. Also, dang, that front hoop is beefy. From a 120/70-17 to a, what, 130/80 ?
