This is all a matter of taste. I chose a 2015 that was heavily loaded. The cost was 20k over several 2016 cars that were say 40k msrp less. It had what I wanted. To each his own on options. Drive the car with and without HS. For me, HS was a deal breaker. I did not like it. In the end I guess I wanted a sporty car, not a sports car. I am now going to have the Interior removed and sound insulting material added and audio upgrades. Others want to hear the engine. That's what makes a market.

I've had two Cali's, a 10 and a 12, and I now have a '16 Cali T and it has around 17,000 miles since late 2015. Unless the T is missing something you REALLY want, get the T. The 100 additional hp and the 100+ additional ft lbs torque are STUPID AMAZING! This is a very easy choice, unless the T is brown or pink.

I drive my T and FF summer and winter and probably have 60,000+ miles in a Cali or more. My T has seen 160 mph and sees 150 often, at least once every couple months average and with all of that driving, I no longer see the LEDs. The tachometer is much easier to see, and my tach is white. Easier to read than a yellow tach. Don't get me wrong, the LEDs impress the wannaabees (those that own a Prius or Porsche :D) but neither in my FF nor my T do I really see the LEDs when doing some performance thing (leaving a stop light :D) To be quite honest, the rate of RPM increase in the first two gears is stunning. By the time you see the LEDs move it is time to shift! Properly using the Power of the T or FF took me six months of daily driving before I no longer hit the RPM limiter.

LOL! It's a matter of perspective. I haven't hit the rev limiter because of the LEDs but my Porsche was stupid fast and I couldn't beat the engine in first gear. Here is the last slip before I traded it off. My car is on the left. It could do 0-60 in 2.6s.

Sorry for the delay in responding, my GTs Launch Edition (in fact, almost every single Launch Edition sold in the US was the identical car) contained a manufacturer defect. That's as much as I can get into, Mercedes offered to take it back and replace it for any Mercedes, doesn't matter if it was more or less expensive than my GTs.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/AMG/comments/34n9m1/amg_gts_electrical_issues/

However, once I made that post (near bottom of page), they simply pulled the plug on ALL negotiations, wouldn't even return my phone calls anymore. I knew I was on to something, especially given other owners of the identical vehicle having the same problem, so I decided to take Mercedes Benz to court, having the former attorney general of my State represent me. I am a large automotive parts supplier, so the industry and its rules/regulations are familiar to me. I also had a dashcam in my car and caught my dealer committing fraud, I put it on DropBox and made the file public and sent a link to Mercedes Benz, they didn't care...

Once Mercedes found out who my attorney was, they bought the vehicle back in less than 4 hours. That was my 6th Mercedes, all purchased brand new... no more.

Congrats. Now, get off the internet, pop the top, and drive to the nearest tunnels in your area. Sport mode, of course.

[emoji23][emoji23] Give Avia a break. He's a newbie. In another thread, Avia is asking about the radio. That's another "C'mon man!". Does car start? Does mannetino turn to Sport? Where is a twisty empty road with no popo? These are the only questions a new F-car owner need ask. Do not post pics of you picking up a soy latte at Starbucks!

Looks good, when you get it home, give us some more shots. Now you can see about getting the louder exhaust.
