Yep. No issues with mine. I never pull off the throttle when shifting but stop and go is about initial engagement. It hard to explain but it the same principle as a manual - don't ride the clutch. Engage it like a switch.
What kind of pressures and cycles are they using. Have not heard the details and would be interested??
