    Fellow Mexico owners,
I am restoring a S1 car and need:
    1. A photo of what rubbers are inside the fuel caps,
    2. Advice on where to acquire such rubbers,
I would post pictures of the restoration but my limit has been reached.
After 19 months we are about to apply paint! Chiaro Celeste Metalizatto.
    Over & out!

    Hello Phil...

lbird provided the info on the rubber grommets for the tank filler necks themselves.

I wasn't sure what you meant by inside the caps, so I am attaching 2 pictures of the
fuel filler caps themselves.. On mine there is an o-ring that seals the cap to the tank
    filler neck..

Hopefully either of us was able to answer your question...

Thank you both for your responses.
I should have been more clear.

What rubbers are used to stop the metal fuel flap from hitting and rubbing against the base of the car when the fuel flap is closed?

    Best regards
    Phil

A picture with the fuel flap lifted up would help immensely.
    Many thanks in advance.

Here's whats on my car. It's a pretty standard 10mm x 4mm piece of soft rubbery foam. It's gray and a previous owner tried to paint it black.

    Thank you very much!
I really appreciate the effort to post this photo for me.
    Looks like Chiaro Celeste Metallizzato!
Same colour as my S1 is about to be resprayed this week.
    Best Regards
    Phil
