Ready for goose bumps?

The Great Ocean Road clip was supposed to be filmed over the Harbour Bridge in Sydney but the State Government refused to close the Bridge to traffic for filming. Such a shame but what an amazing commercial.

Shell actually put ALL the commercials, as well as some "Behind the scenes, making of" together on a CD.

It was stuck into a Ferrari Special....let me see if I can find it...

Well technically it's just south of Sydney in the illawarra region...

 

The formula for a great short film is in this video. The angles, shaky close-ups, reactive shots, and the fact that the sound pitch is almost always rising really fires the brain cells.

I'm going to dust off my old film making skills and shoot a 1 minute video like this for the hell of it. I may even contrast my 308 vs my old Carrera. It will take me all summer but it will be FUN!!!

 

Lord, I loved that when it first hit the air, and its just as good now. What a treat! Sorta rekindles the passion every time I see it.
