What makes the 360 better than a 430 is that i own a 360 and not a 430.
Reason #78: You can put a chevy badge on the front and back and people think its a corvette. #driveittoworkwithouttheenvy
Funny, I don't like the interior of the F430. It looks too contrived, too industrial to me, buttons or not.
430 has to be better, its a bigger number. Just like the 458 is better than the 430 and the 488 better than the 458. Newer is always better, right? That's what suckers the majority into throwing more dollars into the pot and 'upgrading'.
Haha...hilarious thread. But.....they're both V8's and not 12's so the whole argument is mute ....sez the Testarossa and Murcielago Roadster guy lol Shamile Freeze. . . Miami Vice! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
Villi, what a great thread!!! btw: I still miss meeting your 360 this year! my fellow 360CH has yet remained lonely on the last joint rides.... send me a pm when your horse is ready to leave the stable d
I think the siblings should not be compared. For a layman, they are the same car. Atleast thats what I think when I was shopping for my first Fcar not so long ago.Until this time, I dont know why they both look so similar. I always guessed ferrari was too cautious to put out a fine creation in the 360 that it carried it over to the F430. For me the only advantage of an F430 is that it has a more modern interior. But that was an impression in 2010. Now, both of them are old and the 360 is ageing better.
The 360 is better because a 360 looks great with F430 wheels, but an F430 looks silly with 360 wheels.
Interesting evolution...some might consider the original one 'better' in some ways than the newer one,yes the newer model is always faster/more technology, but perhaps not the overall winner? 308,360,458.
I have a thing for Rear Challenge Grills on 360's, the last Ferrari with the metal mesh insert with 4 taillights set in the middle. It is just an aesthetic thing but I like the design connection to the classic race cars. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Lets fast forward to 10 years from now, I hope those people who has it(360) now, would still have it(360) then, and resist the urge to sell it to a newer ferrari just to be faster or to have BT, NAV and parking sensors. Lets toast then for being an owner of the last analog Ferrari ever made. The wines on me all day long.
The 360 is far from being analog. Even the instrument panel is digital, and there are at least ten ECUs driving various systems. About the only things more digitized on the F430 are the E-Diff and stability control.
