95B with 35k for $45k seems extremely low though. Probably needed a bunch of work?
Manuals are more valuable! At this point in the F355's life span, the F1 system is not an asset but a liability.
This looks like a pretty darn good deal...... 1995 Ferrari F355 BERLINETTA Coupe - Star City Motors - Inventory Page
Maybe, but that doesn't mean he's wrong. After all, 360 and 430 F1 cars are not as desired as 3 pedal cars so why would not the same apply to the 355?
I'm not really sure but it looked really clean in pics and was described as being fully serviced. No mention of title, clean or otherwise.
3 pedal 360s and 430s are rare where as with the 355 the f1 is the rare one. So I think it's hard to compare. But who doesn't love a gated shifter?!
In the case of f430 and 360, people are buying the sticks because of their lower production numbers hoping for a profit in the future as a flip or simply a safeguard against further depreciation while they enjoy some miles. I've driven both stick and F1 on the F430 and I would only buy an F1. I enjoyed the "driving" much more. I think people will buy what they enjoy driving with rarity a plus... But although the dsg gearbox is "better and faster" than an F1, I don't enjoy driving it as much... and I'd rather not just put it in D which is where all the dsg gearboxes are set during a drive. No one really uses a dsg like a manual... So I don't see the F1 as a negative or liability. I won't really discuss values here on F1 vs manual. That horse is dead. You can all search and research to find your own answer. Robb
Exactly. Gated 355's are a dime a dozen and the majority. The 355 F1 is historic. Honestly, I don't know why I post in these debates as its a total waste of time. Ferrari is about advancements from F1 technology yet folks just don't seem to get that. Don't get me wrong - I love gated cars too but the baloney posted about them gets tiring. A gated 458 would be like tits on a bull.
Everyones desires/needs/reasonings are different and thats fine I can accept that ...... but for me I could care less about rarity and being faster. (I'd also love a 458 manual ) Image Unavailable, Please Login
A little under 2 years ago those 95's were going for $45-50k with that kind of mileage. The market overall has softened but I feel like 355's never skyrocketed like almost everything else so their asks being aroud 65-70k seem fair still.
All Ferrari's are very special, the 355 is a great one. Sure you could once pick up a driver 355 with a bunch of miles for 45k, however good ones never went even close to that low. They will do very well going forward and outpace inflation IMHO. I just got back my 95 after a year or so and I can't believe what a great car it is. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Correct. Any 355's in that range had issues. Truth is, most do. Hard to find fully sorted examples. That's a killer photo - nice taste
Mine is fully sorted....accept for the dang flickering brake light [emoji35]. Will be worth $10k more once I sort that [emoji38] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
