I believe this is an aftermarket windshield as the original one is made by Sigla.

This would be a great buy if you had a place to store it for when you actually needed it. Nothing worse than needing a windshield and then finding out how much they actually cost.

I went to the UPS store today. The dimensions of the crate are 61" x 40" x 12". At that size, estimated costs from Long Island to:
    San Diego - $300
    Florida - $275
    Boston - $250

They basically said $250 would be a minimum.

Can anyone tell if this is a "high curvature" or "low curvature" windshield?

There is a thread buried somewhere on FChat discussing how some cars are fitted for a higher curvature windshield, and others less. It began with one owner's experience. I don't know that an obvious key to what needs what was determined. Based on the amount of goop at the edges of my windshield, I suspect my '78 would be better fit by a high curvature piece.

True enough, but the most common replacement I have seen is actually Pilkenton, IIRC.

    *shrugs shoulders*

    As long as it fits!

The price is excellent value, I think retail is about triple that!
