Yes, two car garage. One can make a killing during that week in Aug. Right inside the south gate to 17 mile drive.

I would like to see more car work like in the old stooge days.

There are guys who do paintless dent and some guys who touch up paint scratches. A paint scratch guy would be nice.

How about A/C service? Summer is coming. I think there is R-12 in a particular someone's garage and 134A is easy to get at any parts store. We have both manifold gauge sets too.

Brakes are best bleed/flushed annually. If done annually you don't have to go crazy with the flush. If you wait until the brake reservoir is dark you got lots of work to do.

Cooling systems too! Lots of people use extended life but I'm more of a fan of every 2 year flush for the same reason you do brakes. If you really go the full life of coolant then you should be opening up blocks to drain them and all that noise. If you change more often you don't have to be as aggressive. Also, there are a few examples of liner cavitation. We see that in diesels. You can read about them and the coolant additives to combat that. We do see that in less than ideally maintained Ferraris or some with poor running characteristics. It does not cost much more to use the best coolants even if some would cry overkill...Zerex G05...google it.

Don't ignore your transaxle either. This could be a great event to try a different fluid to see what your gearbox likes and remove notchiness if you have it.

I have an EPA license to get R12 if needed and a full recovery setup.

Have a pressure bleeder cap also for the 355's to bleed brakes

    Just say the word

I need to change my crank position sensors (I think) due to a very intermittent hesitation. I have the KIA cross referenced parts and I have just been waiting for that perfect day to swap them. This might be a good opportunity. I'm pretty sure my brake fluid was recently flushed by the PO but I cannot recall the date. I'll look at the reservoir this week to judge the color.

It depends on which sensor, left or right. One is much much harder than then other.

My unscientific guess is the right sensor needs replacing. I will replace both at the same time though. If one is bad, the other certainly isn't far behind. Since I'm also changing to non-OEM sensors, I'd like both to match.

I can do this on my own though. I should have space in my garage again after this weekend :D

we can get it done. I love those kia sensors. they are much more robust than bosch ferrari sensors. I even use them in my 550 maranello and buy them 6 at a time. Funny thing is I almost never have to replace the kia sensor while the oem ferrari/bosch ones designed for our cars failed on a regular bassis.

I'm glad they are Stooge approved! There is something fun about the idea of KIA sensors on a Ferrari.

They are both pretty easy to swap out - although I got a few interesting comments about KIA parts on my 348, lol. Well, that was 8 long years ago, and the same KIA sensors from this thread are still running strong: :D

Vince, my girls are out of school June 14th and we had some stuff planned for the weekend, but I'm going to try and rearrange things 'cause it would be a damn shame to miss a Stoogefest!

Now this may seem odd to ferrari owners and I'm sure no one thought about before. Instead of getting all greased up from the get go, how about everyone gathers near the final destination at an ideal time and all do an "Italian tune up" south PCH to 110 North. Then to the 405 North. Exit Hawthorne South and back to the starting point. I guesstimate it'll take 30 minutes. Just enough time to clear the forever nuisance "Check Engine Light". It worked for me but don't take my words for it. :)

I would interested in a/c service, planning on a long hot drive to Texas with Eva in a few months and would like to ensure the a/c is as cold as it can be for the trip.
    Possibly flushing the brakes.

I'd be down for a brake fluid change if someone is willing to walk me through the procedure for an ABS car ('95GTB). This is the only car I own that has ABS :)

    Hey Stooges!

I'm back from my travels and gearing up another event.

Okay let's see, we got fluid flushes - easy enough to do. I should replace my trans and brake fluid too.

Wheel refinishing we need more customers so we'll have to pass on that unless we can guarantee more clients. I got 4 wheels they can do but my feeling is they want 3 people like me.

Dent removal same thing - I need 3 customers for dents that need to go. Since we are all SOOOO very careful with our rides, chances are slim on making this one. ;)

A/C work is fine as long as this clears with the experts. I'm not one of those. I could probably check my system but it seems to work pretty well, except for that E1 code, which I can clear with a solid whack on the dash.

The fryer is open and available. I'm doing one turkey - let me know who else wants to fry. I need FBB for the grill for wings, not like I have to ask, but someone needs to keep an eye on his fatness for yield, lest "test" pieces disappear from the grill.

Don, a big Thank You for the Tri-tip acomin'!
Eric, sure hope you can arrange your schedule. Also, is it time for Pap to return back to LaLa land or is he still needed at Jon's?
Peter, just get here even if its Uber. Actually tell Chad to chauffer you in his, ahem, Maser, assuming it still runs. ;)
I'll PM out my address a week before or so, along with my cell.
For those coming far, I have room for some to crash for the night if needed. Just let me know so I can clear off the bed in the guest room and kick out the cats.
Tim, bring me some chips like you are using in your Challenge car, if you can, so I can see if they do me any good. Did you set the rev limiter at 8000? I'm still using late year stock chips from a Challenge ECU.
Ferrari Fan, you have more than my blessing. Bring beer, preferably Pilsner, craft or German. :D
