    Hi guys.

Apparently if you have a Cali T with Magnaride you can retrofit the HS on to it. Is this real? Has anyone done it?

    Thanks.

I have installed the exhaust kit.
    Well worth the cost.
Was not aware the other bits were available.
Not sure I would want them after test driving a HS fitted car as I didn't see that much difference in handling on the roads that I typically drive. This deal looks legit to me. Glad to see Ferrari finally making it available. It does make me wonder if the Cali replacement car might be farther off than speculation currently has it.

By the way, the part number shown for the exhaust system is correct which makes me think the part for the handling piece is also correct.

ok cool! I think I'm going to do the HS package retrofit. Do I just talk to the ferrari dealer? I drove the HS and liked the feel but there were no bianco avus HS cars when I was looking. Do you have any clips of the exhaust? My car has a "sports exhaust," but I don't know if thats the same thing. Thanks.

Just to be clear, on non-HS cars sports exhaust means exhaust pipe tips only.
Ferrari is calling the retro fit "Sports Exhaust" which is the HS car system and that happens to include the tips as well.
I haven't made a sound clip yet but I can assure you the retrofit exhaust sounds fantastic.

Just curious if the suspension HS package is really available.

One more question, would installing both packages (exhaust and handling) include remapping the gearbox for quicker shifts? Just curious. I cannot recall if the faster shifting response was software only or if there was any additional hardware involved.

Lastly, what are the list prices for each HS upgrade?

    Thanks, Snewton.

Idk the answers to these questions, thats why I posted it. If its real and available its a great option for me... I emailed a few Ferrari Dealers to see what they say. If I hear anything I'll post, I'd appreciate if others did the same. Many Thanks.

The cost for the exhaust was $4,450, parts and labor.
I don't know about the gearbox being changed.
I drove an HS model and found the shifts to be hard/harsh in regular traffic and prefer my existing shift modeling.

    Exhaust Kit $4,704.00

If there is a want, Boardwalk would be happy to put together a group buy for 3-5 or 10 owners.

Maybe even a Parts and Labor deal too!

    That seems high.
I paid $4,450 for the exhaust system.
I think the HS factory package for both the exhaust and handling is in the $8,500+ range.
Your pricing is double I think.

Just been told by Ferrari dealer in SFO:

The HS Sport Exhaust by itself is, unfortunately, not applicable to vehicles with the Magnaride Dual mode suspension, which your California T does have. Having the Magnaride suspension means that the only way to get a Sport Exhaust set up is to get the Special Handling package, which includes the exhaust, as well as some suspension modifications. The Special Handling package is $12k.

While it's surprising the MagneRide suspension could be affected by the (factory) Sport Exhaust setup (cat-back components) perhaps those owners who are potentially affected can simply swap the muffler and not the rest of the pipework.

There are also 3rd party options - after all, I believe the factory unit is apparently made by Tubi.

When I installed just the Capristo mufflers on my car, it made a huge difference, and not just in noise.

So has the Ferrari dealer in SFO got it wrong? I must admit I was surprised at his advice but I'm no mechanic, I just get in & drive :)

Thanks for the feedback & clearing up that very confusing dealer advice. I've ordered the sports exhaust kit & cannot wait!
