    There are 3 screws that hold the washer lifter to the bumper. One of these is not easily accessible when fitting the unit. The lifter can be separated from the housing but that doesn't help. It looks like the coloured cover that you see from the outside needs to come off but how? Anyone who has done this will know exactly what I mean.

    You remove the bumper. Remove the washer from the housing, then the housing can be removed. Once the bumper is off the car it is pretty easy to see the access points. Maybe it can be done with the bumper in place but taking off the bumper is easy and will make this job easy.

    I don't find it that easy. The 2 parts of the pump split via 2 bolts but how do you get to the middle securing screw that goes into the bumper?

    I guess I need to know how to get the little bumper coloured cover off this piece so I can pull it away from the body that supports it.
