Thank you all for contributing but please post pictures instead of links. It might cost a small amount to subscribe but it makes this thread all the more valuable. Gr. Martin
Not a matter of money, matter of principle... Posting pictures is the most basic feature for any forum and I'll never pay a penny for that. By posting pictures I generate traffic, by generating traffic I generate revenues for the site owner. So I won't pay for having the right to make money for the site owner What I try to do is not to post too much links I search and select pictures that are really outstanding and will please the crowd. I agree direct pics are more enjoyable than links but you should tell that to Rob Lay
Though the big pictures on the link have a clarity advantage. All yellows are not created equal... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
100% agreed. Another factor for me is that I post links with HI RES photos. Pictures in all their glory. Small resized pictures are not for me.
Bravo Olivier -TOTALLY agree - nobody on this forum is penny pinching - not even in the vocabulary -- a nice balance of pics/ links and free , unfettered chat - hence the name "Ferrarichat"...
Another valid reason for posting links is to give due credit to the original source rather than appropriating other people's intellectual property or infringing their implied copyright Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Agreed. By posting the link to the account, the people that use that platform can get regular updates of the creator's work. I do appreciate all those that repost the best pics of the links as it does make the pages much warmer/human to scroll through rather than robotic links. Regarding paying to post pics, I think it's fine to subscribe and keep ferrarichat a profitable enterprise for the owners as fchat is a good balance of compliance and freedom. Free forums have very little compliance practises and over time the inmates start to run the asylum and it just turns into a troll/teenage forum whereas here we actually get the owner's experience as well. Plus there are many people in the industry that contribute as well and generate business for themselves which is a win/win. I personally was subscribed for a number of years but I also found it strange after a while to be paying just to add attachments. So I can see where dc is coming from. Especially as he contributes a lot, it's like a journalist paying the newspaper for the privilege of publishing their work.
Agree 100%. Rob has been told/asked about this several times but won't change. I subscribed as Rosso and Silver for a few years but found little value add, especially when it came to photos. Having to manually upload what turn out to be photos with less than great resolution is far less attractive than simply posting the links. Thankfully other users feel the same, and I can easily link and look at beautiful photos.

Some like the configuration some don't. The important thing is that the owner of a competitor brand shows his appreciation to ferrari without hesitation. In front of Pagani's factory. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXb7H6ettkk Video by:Van Dorp exclusive automobiles
