I want a selvio qf but only on lease. not interested in risk unreliability and depreciation. but if lease is crazy and its over 1000/m I will go with either jag or rr

I believe quite a few. Same as BMW 3 series. There's a GLUT of leased vehicles coming into the used market in the US this year. All those "special lease deals" bring in the traffic but churn out a gazillion cars 3 years later.

I found a dealer willing to give me a "decent" deal on a Quad, it arrived today. Not the exact option package, but close.

Going on a west coast road trip!!

That's kinda of what I was wondering. If enough people are leasing or trading them in in 3-4 years I may as well wait for the reliability bugs to get worked out and the depreciation to at least set in.

I waited a year on my abarth, which had I known they would be sub 20k, would've waited 3 years so they could hit bottom.

    +1

Waiting for the first year run saved me some headaches with the 500.

A dealer texted me he had a QF available. That means supply is beginning to exceed demand.

    Good.

Stupid question, but does anyone know if there are incentives or deals to be made for buying more than one car at a time? Me and a buddy come in and buy cars, or buy a Stelvio for the wife at the same time as a Giulia?

Negotiate as hard as you can, and then say "what if I buy a second car?"...

I'm sure a dealer will be happy to pass along the discount they get from the factory when they buy more than one at a time.

Thanks for the sarcasm. I know dealers are incentivized for moving a certain volume per quarter, I just don't know if that could be incentive enough for 2 orders to make the needle move for them.

They are available, for sure. I wasn't able to find a dealer willing to sell for MSRP.

Did you check Vegas? I've been offered MSRP with a little effort.

I did. Hemming and hawing, granted I didn't push hard. The one I bought was below.

The answer would be no. The very light sarcasm is based on 35 years of selling exotic and speciality cars. If in that time I had a nickel for every time someone negotiatated, What if I buy two?", and they actually bought two, I'd have a nickel.

Quad availability is really determined by dealer and location..
case in point...a fellow on the Giulia board just took delivery of his MCB Quad in Indiana...it happens to be the only one in the state at the present time...go figure
yet near me in Greenwich Miller has received a healthy number of Quads...
Issue really for many is that people would like to order color/options as opposed to just waiting to see what shows up...MY 2018 will indeed get LEDs and the software updates that addressed the initial gremlins will have been addressed as well as the cars now being Android Auto/CarPlay ready...I have enjoyed mine...lost of fun to drive...it has its quirks that I am getting used to...but all in all a solid sports sedan

Finally got my QV, after several months of searching. I had to go halfway across the country, but found what I was looking for. It really is an amazing car. Alfa has done a wonderful job with this car.
I'm sure leases for the base and Ti will improve significantly over the next 6 months. I'm not sure about the QV. Supplies are still tight. But prices will definitely improve with time.

Great looking car! You should post a review after you put some miles on it.

was told that the order board for the MY2017 was done in the beginning of May.
everything going forward is for the MY2018.
a board member who ordered his Quad on May 7th was just told it would be a MY2018 Quad and not a MY2017.
The MY2018 Quad will have HK as standard and the Android/carplay feature....LED lighting is indeed delayed..and there was something else having to do with the driver's assist package..
Some people who placed orders have gotten cars quicker because their build matched an unsold build already on the line....
there is just so much information floating around some accurate some not so much...
my car just showed up one day...in December...
as far as leases on the Quad, of the 6 owners that I know..all were outright purchases...my dealer told me no lease option for my car....

That is correct, regarding ordering timeline. The LED lights, however, were never slated for MY18 to begin with.

thanks for the correct info...another "internet myth" floating about is that MY2017 Quads can be retrofitted w/the carplay....others say no because it is a hardware type of fix not a software....I tend to believe the latter that it will be a hardware issue...
biggest issue people have is the lack of accurate info...and this is also from the dealers as well...
    thanks again

I don't have definite information about the possibility of enabling CarPlay on older vehicles, but I tend to agree with you: in the parts catalog, vehicles with CarPlay have different hardware part numbers for the head unit and the AUX/USB module.

Went to the local Richmond dealer two weekends ago and they had 7 or 8 Ti's on the lot, but nobody there so couldn't do more than look at them. Wife decided she wanted a manual, so we went across the street and bought a Mini (her 2nd). Too bad as it's a beautiful looking car.

I have come to love the heads-up display on my wife's 3-series wagon. Any plans for adding heads-up display to the Giulia?

checked out a white Quadrifoglio that was on the lot of the local dealership. The dealer wants about 20K to 30K over MSRP for the Q. They had 3 other normal Guilia's on the lot that are selling for MSRP.
