I wanted to go to the Mexican GP this year but I'm still too scared to go to Mexico City. I have been there several times in the past but the current situation has me too worried

We don't seem to have a definitive thread so in preparation for next year how about we start here

Are there any ticket recommendations yet from anyone who has just been ?

Do hotels operate the standard major sporting event rip-off ?

I've tried a couple of times to go to it. Not easy: It is so popular that the tickets actually sell out fast. Best approach would be ticket scalpers online.

As for hotels, that's less difficult because Mexico City is so much bigger than the GP: You'll find hotels easily at decent rates. No problem there.
