Much better with the standard wheels of tdf option than the launch cars.

The rear hatch is open? The line is way off.

Thank you for the picture. These wheels make the 812 look much better then the originals but that rear section transition I continuo not getting into terms with it.

    It's a pre-production car ... I'm amazed it's as close as it is.

just came to same conclusion myself - I have changed to matt grigio corsa standard wheels. Will leave the TDF design for my actual TDF.

I'm not a fan of the styling at all I'm afraid. Not one bit.

I look at that 812 and think "old-mans car." That's not to say I like the Aventador or Lambrorghini's other offerings. In fact I think that the Aventador looks overstyled and tacky. Nasty to be honest.
But this 812 has no sex appeal, no grace, no elegance. It's just bloated. Look at 275GTB/4 and I think sexy. Even a 550 Maranello has a graceful elegance.
The old Aston DBS was sexy and sporty as is the Vanquish.

    This is just nondescript.
I wish Ferrari would put that magnificent drive train into a modernised take on the BB/Testarossa.

Pinninafarina's absence is a step backwards.

Roger that. I'm not convinced of the work coming out of Centro Stile. It's a hodgepodge of themes.

    The Viper Corvette?

It's gaudy, insecure, corporate. They're trying too hard to be macho. Subtlety is not a crime.

I really like new wheels but have gone for a super sporty look rather than GT look with race seats etc etc

I couldn't agree with you Cesman more that I disagree with the noted statement! "Old Man's car"?

Nearly 800 hp naturally aspirated front (mid) engine Ferrari V12, variable steering, dynamic aero package throughout, new gen brakes and tranny... and styling (subjective or not of course) is a quietlly penned nuevo-extension of the F12 and 599--both considered fairly revolutionary compared to the Maranello.

I'm not bashing Pinninfarina... they are masters and have penned some of the most beautiful Ferrari cars ever!

But if the 812 Sperfast is a so-called old man's car, what would a youngster drive... the Bat Mobile? A gaudy gawker's special--Lambo? A souped up Tesla?

Btw: What's wrong with being an "old man"? :) There are plenty of us over 60--assume that what that comment meant--that would beg to differ on our proven ability to appreciate, collect and drive very hard some of the greatest sports motor cars ever produced....

I am planning to go with a black car with the charcoal painted forged wheels (Michelin Pilot 4S tires), fender shields, standard leather seats, green stitching, LED steering wheel, rear parking sensors, heat blocking front glass, homelink.
