Very little, even a nationwide search on Autotrader reveals few if any under $50 K. 80 % of those listed are 2017s, brand new trucks. Neighbor down the street has this exact same truck, white, 4 doors and even the 4 lights in the bumper...... I had to do a serious double take. I love these trucks, but the pocket book today says I have to wait.
these trucks really have held their value better than almost any other vehicle I've had. The new ones costing about $12-15k more and not having a V8 anymore has definitely contributed to that. I was lucky enough to pay under MSRP when I ordered mine. It was towards the end of the run in 2014 and most dealers were back to asking over sticker for their remaining allotments.
Very nice! I have a 2013 SuperCrew in Silver with the SVT Beadlock wheels, Hammerhead bumpers front and rear, Warn Winch, and same lights. It is a great truck and these vehicles hold their value tremendously. Someone is getting a great truck with this one!
These things have held their value extremely well. I wanted to order on for the longest time, but told myself to wait on a good deal on a used one... which never came. Wish I would have ordered. GLWS!
GLWS! Beauty truck! I wanted one so bad when I bought my 2013 FX4 new, but I knew I would destroy it with the terrible life choices I would make behind the wheel of one of these
Thanks... I love the new Raptors and was strongly considering one, I just didn't want to wait 3 months to get one for under MSRP. I ended up buying a Range Rover Sport that I should be picking up at the end of the week. Should be a nice change to drive something more luxury based but still get that V8!
Yeah, it's a great truck but I passed back in late 2014 because they pretty much wanted $61k for your truck. There were three in the Austin area one white, one blue and one red. Instead, I got a 2012 RR Sport supercharged for $47k and it was so good that I traded it about 10 months later for a new 2015. I love my RR and now don't regret passing on the Raptor because the RR goes everywhere the Raptor will and it's more plush inside. It's also smaller by a good bit, surprisingly. However, I still turn my head to look at a Raptor whenever I see one. They are the best truck Ford made, the V8 one anyway. Not so sure about the newer V6 ones. Since I see you bought a RR Sport, here is a comparison photo between mine and an oilfield Raptor. GLWS, I guess you are not trading because the LR dealer isn't very negotiable? Congratulations what a beautiful machine - I went thru 4 Airstream all pulled By Suburbans in 1989 to when the first power strokes came out in 1997 or 1998 - then unbieveable 500 foot pounds of torque - I can't imagine how far the machines have come - I switched to a bus - 650hp Cummins with 23,500 fp of push
The dealer I'm buying from has actually been great to deal with. I just figured that anytime you try to trade any vehicle that has a niche type market you'll get hosed. I think it's priced right and shouldn't take too long to find the right buyer so I didn't mind the little extra working of selling it myself. I'm very excited to get into the RR, I've really enjoyed my time with the Raptor but I'm looking forward to having something with more luxury that's actually able to easily fit into parking garages and most parking spaces! I was originally looking at the 6-cyl Sports but after driving the V8 I was hooked! hopefully I'll be able to pick it up on Friday.
decided to lower it to $48k to hopefully move it soon... I'm picking up my new car this week and won't be driving the Raptor anymore after that.
last price drop... $45,900 because I'm signing a P&S on a new house this week and just want to move it and get it off my plate.
bump... surprised I still have this. Then again, the truck market is pretty slow in the summer.. hopefully it'll pick up soon. Mine is still priced below anything even close to as clean out there.
