This is your official Stoogefest Turkey Defrost Warning: Put your turkeys in the fridge tonight at the latest to allow for a slow thaw. On Friday, if they are still frozen, fill a tub with cold water and submerge the turkey for the day to complete the thaw. Then remove from the wrapping and apply your dry rub. Place in a plastic bag - I use a small trash bag - and keep in the fridge until you are ready to come over.

First turkey will go on around 10:00 with the next eating turkey right after. When the eating turkeys are done, the take-home turkeys will be cooked. Wings will be ready for serving at 11:30 assuming FBB leaves us some from the grill. For early arrivers, we'll have the coffee brewing.

What time does the stooginess begin? Don't want to arrive too early and affect Vince's beauty sleep. :)

Repeat: Come whenever you like. If earlier than 10AM you will be helping set up stuff. Usually it's the wife telling me what needs to go where. And if you are handy in the kitchen, I might draft you to cut stuff up or some other menial task. The hardest part of all this is trying to arrange garage and driveway space for those who want to work on their cars. Please check in with Bruce when you see him since he is the coordinator. My car will be outside on the pool deck/entry, so don't get any Stoogey ideas about rolling it into the pool. ;)

Any yellow, blue, black or silver cars got paint chips? I need a color code for them if you want Dr Colorchip to have your color with him. This is your chance. It ain't expensive.

Bruce, add me to Dr.ColorChip to do list. It's silver but the official color is Argento something something.

By the way I know everything about BBQ grill and I'm hoping to expand my knowledge to include 355 engines. For the time there, I will put my skill to work fixing "Russian riblets". It takes a special skill to make it right. Can't leave it in too long and can't pull it out too early. So if anyone wants to throw something on the grill, bring it on. :)

It says, "Grigio Titanio". I think it means titanium grey in French. I spend the last two years trying to master Russian. I should've taken up French!

On a side note, the front of my 355 has more chips than a Doritos bag. Dr. ColorChip betta bring a gallon of paint. We shall see. :)

FYI, black is Nero FER 1240. I think this is the same color code until the later years.

I'm assuming he's bringing enough RC to go around. I'm in for a few chips on my nose. Not sure if all years are the same but my tag listed 300/9.

Sounds like it is going to be blazes tomorrow out in the sun. It is clear 77F today and cools off to 75F Saturday...that's blazes for us by the beach. I might accidentally fall in Vince's pool.

People who want to recharge 134A let me know and I will bring the 134 manifold you bring your own gas available at local autoparts store.

Anyone recharging R-12 perhaps Bruce has the R-12 manifolds. R-12 gas is more problematic...make arrangements. If someone has the R-12 manifold and gas I know what to do.

My paint says PPGx, Nero DS 1250+

I read something about it being for
The faster 99 model so it does not peel off at speed.
