Look lovely. I look forward to the dyno results.
From the images I see, I see the header flanges at 90º to the primary tubes, and not the 16º that would correspond to the angulation of the head ports. I also see a very creative, well executed, beautiful set of headers; missing one little iota of being perfect.
Ok so let's see your headers then. Where are the pictures with your "little iota" of perfection on them? Matter of fact. Send out your entire exhaust system and let's have a dyno day shootout to see just how well they stack up. Same dyno, same car, same day.
I'm a buyer if made in 321 SS and pending dyno results for a 2.7. As a matter of fact, you can use my car for R&D if you're looking for a 95 car .
mitch ..... this manifold design was many years in the making .... as with other projects from the abyss .... this design effort also included an extensive cylinder head and port analysis ..... this self-evident 'angle' in the port is only one of many elements factored into this design ...... there are also many additional attributes to these manifolds than what is readily apparent in the pictures .... BTW ..... ernie is correct ........ try looking at these pictures: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/348-355-sponsored-bradan/517803-project-5-2-full-system-race-specification-twin-valve-exhaust-gothspeed.html
Goth, you make nice stuff and do excellent work. Just a suggestion - perhaps look into the same type heat shield as Tubi uses. The blankets hurt so a beautiful fab job
I agree. The Tubi style shielding looks the best other than the OEM shields. Shielding similar to Tubi's. HeaderShield? | The Ultimate Thermal Management System Fabspeed blankets aren't bad either'
The heat attenuation method used on these manifolds functions extremely well ..... it is light weight, will not rattle, allows manifold inspection, are replaceable and above all ... help keep runner temperatures 'equal' before they combine into the collector .....
Before and after dyno results would be great. If it's even a nominal improvement over factory headers this would be the go to swap after failed headers.
Sorry guys, part of the hold up is my fault, too. My car is the GothSpeed test bed and has the full GothSpeed exhaust (among other Goth goodies)...however, it developed a clutch issue after having it replaced about 1800 miles ago... we need a good solid clutch to get the full real life numbers... so please stand by as we sort this out. Hold the popcorn.
