GREAT, but unfortunate finish for the GTE pro class. That was a fun battle between the Corvette and Aston. I always pull for the Vettes, but exciting either way. I can't wait to hear what Taylor has to say about happened.

The big winner: Jackie Chan's team.

    AMAZING.

They actually had a chance to win overall.

The GTE pro race was interesting the entire race.

Was it from going off, or was the tire already going down?

Between this and F1, how many billions of dollars has Toyota spent with nothing to show for it?

Kudos to Porsche for the overall win, great effort. OTOH, I am smiling at their unsympathetic effort wiith the mid-engined RSR's. :p

    Best,
    Jack.

    is it?

it makes me less inclined to buy a Toyota.

actually the only thing Toyota sells in the US that interests me are pickups, so maybe NASCAR is the right place for them to spend money.

Really? That's interesting. I have always liked the MR-2s, the Celicas and the hotter Corollas regardless of Toyota's racing exploits.

Why does that make you less willing to buy a Toyota? Is it because you believe that it reflects badly on the brand, or because of what other people think when they see you in a Toyota? You are not the first person to claim this. Still, I don't get it. Honda's failure in F1 does not reflect on my inclination to buy a Civic Type-R.
