Just found this link and it sounds like fun. I'm definitely a gearhead and smarter than the average bear when it comes to mechanics so I'd love to help where I can. If you need any tools shoot me a list and I'll see what I have (and what I can fit into the trunk of my 458). Mark.
Hi Carl, I am bringing down r134 to recharge my AC tomorrow to make sure its as cold as it can be for my drive to Texas coming up.
Well it'll prob be 120 in my greenhouse 308 in 405 traffic-- hoping there's a batch of R12 waiting for me!
75F?? ...... this summer is getting out of control hot!!! I don't think I can take the 355 out ... ......... it only comes out between 65 & 70F with humidity under 25% ....... which is normally most of the year around here in stooge-town .....
Thanks Vince and Barbara for a great Stoogefest event. It was great seeing all the Stoogies and future Stoogies. Food was amazing beyond words. Drive back to San Diego was a bit painful at 2 hours 45 min due to heavy traffic, but the memories of the stoogefest kept me smiling.
Once again, Vince and Barbara proved wonderful-and tolerant-hosts to the Stooges. Heck, this was and international Stoogefest this time! Great food, lies, and war stories. Oddly, there was no recipient of the Ketel award. C'mon guys, how we gonna be stooges without a Ketel winner?
WOW tons of folks from all over yesterday need pics guys Thanks Dave for all the Wheel Bolts everyone was fighting for them soon as I got there Vince did a random number thing
Thank you for the 'SoCal' welcome, it was great to drop by and meet a few nice people yesterday! How did the turkey end up? Dayan.
Great day and my hearty thank you to all attendees and contributors of alcohol and foodstuffs. We actually did a little car work and AC seemed to be the dominant issue. FBB is the cooler king! Let's see, Stooges and guests consumed 2 of 3 fried turkeys (Jeff got his to go home before FBB sniffed it out). 48 wings, 3 lbs of tri-tip that was to die for, several lbs of Korean style ribs, chips, homemade salsa verde - need recipe badly - sushi, halibut, deserts out the ying yang, more beer than old Stooges can consume (seriously), wine and sodas, 3 cases of bottled water and God knows what else. Great day. Can't wait for someone else to host one. Pictures follow.

Luke graciously took home the Ketel award for being the new guy and for being way younger than the rest of us lol!
The Ketel Award was given to Luke not for mishaps but because he is the newest Stooge to attend and work on his car. He replaced both cam position sensors, almost by himself while the rest of us drank and made the usual helpful comments. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you Vince and Barbara for the hospitality and to all the stooges for their wealth of information. The food, company, and most importantly, the beer was great and almost endless. It seems like the Kettle award grew a set of hands and legs. I was greeted with this as I went to 'drive' home Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dayan, our Swedish Stooge, both turkeys came out perfectly. There was very little left or take home, but I have some of each in my refrigerator. It probably won't be there for long, however. Very good stuff.
Jeff is just happy Luke was there to divert attention from him, because we were starting to talk about giving it to Jeff because he did the most work on his car! But in the end, it was time to pass Ketel along to the next generation.
Did you make Luke drink Tequila out of it? That was an integral part of the "handing off" ceremony when it went from JT to Mitchell and then Mitchell to Henry. If not, he'll have to do a shot at the Fall Stoogeapalloza.
We also need to extend a HUGE thank you to Dave (Dave_rocks) of Sticky RX for his donation of 13 (?) wheel alignment tools. These are really well made - I even bought one - as I am sure the 13 raffle winners will discover. Interestingly, a 550 owner and a 308 owner each took one home. Hope they fit guys! Thank you Dave!
Vince, you are the luckiest man alive - I don't know how Barb puts up with all us rascals at your place! What a great day, thank you so much to you and Barbara for hosting another wonderful event! LOL, I was thinking it and we all were watching him super carefully on his departure. It was close, but he scooted out of there without incident.
